You are right because I am 66 and have been through the same exact thing that Debbie is going through. A friendship on line would probably be best for Debbie and Oussama. Perhaps they are in need of companionship instead of marriage. Connecting with folks on a deeper level is hard to find these days. I agree with Melicia Oussama should have been upfront in the beginning. Perhaps Debbie could have asked more questions before she sold everything to move to Morocco but here they are. Morocco is a patriarchal society so I wasn't surprised with Oussama not asking Debbie what she wanted in a husband. I tutored men from Morocco in English trust me there are very few who don't subscribe to the patriarchal ideology. Final note..it not allowed for unmarried Moroccans to shack up or stay with a woman in a hotel that's why it was in Debbie's name. ( It's my guess) Morocco is an Islamic country. Just saying. This is both a character and age issue.
Debbie is nearly 70 years old, there is no reason she should be even considering a man in his 20’s. My kids are in there 20’s, they have grandparents in their early 70’s.
