Im so excited!! Im newish to stamping, still trying to figure how to get great pick up, and my guy got me two 24 bottle sets of Born Pretty stamping polishes on A axon for Christmas. Mail delay, so theyre not here quite yet, but Im THRILLED that the bright mostly creamy set has all these shades, I think. Wow, that yellow! A d the turquoise/dark robins egg color is just amazing.. a d the Orange. I love em all basically. Thsnks so much, youf video really gsve me something to look forward to! B T W, a few really cute dtampinh plates a d glitters and foils galore on sale at Born Pretty store, now. Lots of oroducts for less than a dollar US

Love the stamping colors. Had no idea there was an specific polish for that. I’m gonna have to try it. No wonder mine never worked 😂 I was using reg polish 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Some regular polishes do work for stamping but some are too thin or not pigmented enough 🤭 metallic nailpolishes do work wonders for stamping 😊

Love this video! Was thinking while you were wiping it off if it would be easier to get an extra nail art brush that you never use and wet it with acetone or swipe in order to get into those fine lines if that would be easier

I was wondering what if you stamp white first and then the same motive in color over the white...
And for the smearing... I can absolutely recommend the metal shocks water based top coat as the first layer and then put regular top coat on top... Works amazing and the stamping won't smear at all... Great video. I love the colors!

you probably have to scrub really hard, because the plate is etched very deeply. I would recommend to pour some acetone on the plate (or nail polish remover without acetone) and scrubbing it with a brush. It worked for me with a fine angled eyeliner/eyebrow brush.
I've never had issues with it before and I own tons of bps plates 🤭but they work awesome!

Born Pretty do have some brilliant names for their colours don't they? I got a couple a while ago from Wish, one being Crown Of Poseidon. The ones I got in particular are really lovely holographic ones too.

Thanks for the tip! I usually go for a good nailpolish remover or a rubbing alcohol and acetone mixture 🤭
femketjeNL I found a lot of the nail polish removers have oil in them and leave residue. Let me know how it works for you. 😊

I’m new to stamping and I bought some of these polishes but I can not get any of my stampers to pick the image up. Any advise? TIA
Hi :) It could be a few different things that are not working out well. Did you clean the stamper on forehand? Sometimes when they're new they can be a bit of a hassle. And do you roll the stamper on the plate or just go straight onto it? Rolling can help with picking the image up more easily. Also it could be the plate itself or the polish that is used. Try to rule out different options by trying different plates and polishes on separate occasions :)
@@femketjeNL it is a fairly new stamper. I was able to pick up one image but no luck after that. I will try other plates and stamping polish out of this series. I’ve had no trouble with other brands but I will keep at it. Thank you so much for replying! ♥️♥️

Atm I use a bendable phone holder that's above my work space but I'm going to build a hovering setup so it won't get in the way 😊

Yes they can! 😊
I like the polishes, but only as stamping polish and not as regular. Because they stay sticky even when they are dry. Thats the problem i have with the polishes.

I bought some stamping plates and polishes from born pretty and it just doesnt work --- it does not pick up the color from the plates at all!! so annoyed
When stamping doesn't seem to work out well it can be caused by a lot of things.
You can try cleaning the plate first with pure acetone or rubbing alcohol after ofcourse removing the blue film.
It could also be the speed it's applied to the plate, these polishes dry super fast so working fast is advised :)
It can also have to do with the stamper just not working out for you, aswell as the scraper. It took me a while to find my perfect match, but I use an essence stamper and a semi flexible scraper by born pretty.

@@femketjeNL I will try cleaning it off with rubbing alcohol and or a cet one. I did scrape it and stamp it quite fast. The essence stamper is sold out everywhere lol I’m using the born pretty stamper and scraper :(
