You can go via basna -padmapur to Sonepur this is the best route. Sohela will take next 1 year for construction

Why should I go for 160 km extra if I have a route before from basna then it's not worth going via sambalpur.
National Highway 57 hai Balangir - Sonepur - Boudh - Khorda- Bhubaneswar. Best shortest and best route hai Puri se Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir, Udyanbandh, Khariara Road hoke Raipur, pure rasta me se 95% NH aur mast rasta hai..

if u go by Sohela sonepur route, almost no tolls, lekin aap agar Sambalpur highway se jayege to 2-4 tolls milege. Total KMs 550-600 k andar ahi
