Senator Kennedy is 100% correct in assessing Chopra's budget allowance.. if the FED hasn't had positive earnings for almost 2 full years, then the CFPB is not entitled to any budget allowances. Furthermore, since they did draw an operating budget for the last 2 years, although the FED had no earnings, they should be subject to pay that money back because the statute requires FED earnings to support their budget.. as a result, the CFPB should be shut down! This action seems necessary for at least two main reasons. Firstly, they drew funding illegally and violated a number of laws, and secondly, if they have no source of legal funding, then they lack the financial ability to operate. They can't pay the rent, utilities, operating expenses, or payroll to staff employees.. Logic and common sense says that dissolution is not only probable, but an inevitability.
Risk is always a loss, as a collective long term observation of the cumulation of it's results, even with print, and that is why we should base our risks on guarantees of experience, and faith of correct process, instead of opinions and immature guesses. And cutting corners, while lining the books is the risk. It doesn't allow you to gain The full experience of intelligence or wisdom. We don't need to sell ourselves short from believing in future results that experience tells us that's not how the process works.
