Oh my that lamb looks so good it's been about three years since I've had lamb. It's expensive and hard to find where I live. As a kid growing up my Grandparents were farmers and raised sheep. We would have lamb and mutton there a lot. Thank you for bringing back some great old memories. The way you setup your camp fire was cool. I hope you don't mind if I barrow that idea for some winter camping. The way you had it would make for a great heat reflector. It's very special that you have a person who will get out and do the things you enjoy. My wife also likes the outdoors. God bless and stay safe.
Great video, love that parang, the roast looks bloody awesome. I love bush cooking it always tastes better. Cheers mate, go the Lemon man I put lemon on everything.

gday guys! love the channel, just wanted to know more about your choice of machete type and length? please? your videos are much appreciated. keep em coming
Hello there! If you go to our video, "How Blacksmiths make Parang Machetes in Malaysia." You'll see the exact same parang from this Lamb Roast video in the final stages of production, it weighs about 550gms. If you want chopping power I wouldn't go any lighter than that. Including the handle it's 45cm long, hope that helps.
thanks so much, i was watching SOUTHERN CROSS SURVIVAL channels latest video and he gave a big shoot out to this channel at the end of his vid... both channels are a wealth of knowledge thanks again for sharing!!
cutting into the lamb let's the juices run out. also lamb does not need to be cooked to 180 degrees. it can be eaten at 140 degrees witch will make it more Jucy and more nutritious.
Yes that's true. The Victoria Fisheries restriction of 9cm from eyeball to the back of the carapace also means that most species are completely protected because they never grow that big. The one in the video is a full size adult Yarra River Spiny Crayfish. There's only a few species that grow to 9cm, most don't.
What a pretty wife! He gave her all the meat and took most of the bone. How sweet! :-)

strawbs083 Should've or should have. Not "should of."
Those crayfish would have to be as big as lobsters to be legal.
