Great job! CAN YOU TELL from this experience... if there is any way to get BOTH low-beams to run at the same time? Here in the US a single headlight is weird.. and not safe. Do you have any thoughts if the BULBS inside could be changed somehow? I could easily rewire the harness.

Did you manage to adjust the headlight beam , and when you said you needed to adjust a clip at the back what did you mean , great job tho bro , I was dreading this job as I've got two cracked headlights so thank you for this vid too 👍🏼

Just done the same thing on my 18 Mt10 you’re not kidding about how fiddly it is 😆 I just replaced the lens on one side! Still a pain though 😆 thanks for your help 🙏🏻✌🏼
Aw stop it's just a nightmare. Like all the panels click in and make so much sense but they didn't think about the headlight and its do hard 😂 no worries glad to of helped 👌
Mine cracked for no reason , you guys know if i can find just lenses for them? The entire headlight is verry expensive
I manage to find headlight lens covers for my R1 2015, but I don't know how to remove the original ones that are cracked. Beside those 2 small screws, can you tell are the lens covers glued permanently or maybe sealed with some rubber like material that can be soften by heat? I appreciate any help.

Hi mate thanks for the great video, do you know if the little spoilers under the headlights is screwed on or is part of fhe headlight shroud ? I mean the two flaps that cover the steering damper, cheers!

This first gen bike still looked cool and somewhat brutal and futuristic. The new 2023 gen 2 bike looks like a dogs dinner, the new front light/headlight is hideous, looks sooooo crap.
There will surely be a third party option for the gen 2 MT-10 headlight very soon because I can not honestly understand how anybody could look at the gen 2 bike and love it
I did not think that Yamaha would make the new bike uglier than the older bike
Do you know if you’d have to do all that to change the mesh grille in the centre of the lights? I’ve got a 17 plate and the dead bugs have made it go rusty !! 🙈
Unfortunately yes. There are people who have found a way to take off the headlight cover without taking the whole unit off. But it's easier to just take it off. Only issue is what hold it on are metal screws in plastic threads and mine are pretty much fucked after taking it on and off a few times. I bought a satin black touch up pen with a brush and just touched up the rush, perfect color match and no hassle.

Have you updated the firmware on the gopro, that sorted my ones freezing craic.

Wish they make custom headlight its the only thing holding me back on buying a mt10. Im not sure i can live with stock look.
