2016 Annual Cabazon Powwow at Fantasy Spring Casino Resort Events Center in Indio, CA, held each Thanksgiving weekend. The annual Bird Singing and Bird Dancing program is held on Saturday evening, featuring members of local tribes singing the Bird Songs which are thousands of years old, passed down each generation.

I pray that participating in the Bird Dance and Song that it give you purpose and meaning. That it teaches you and gives you meaning. That it teach you what it means to be men and women; to be responsible, to raise your children strong, and to stay away from drugs and alcohol, and work for that which is yours and not dependent on the government or tribe. That in this you find joy. And that it teaches you to help your family and community. In this you will find an unbreakable chain of family of those that have gone before since the creation and that it gives you strength to weather the storms of life.
