The Fate series was a surprise for me. Its blend of a simple but effective concept, lavish visuals, sensuality too, high energy fight scenes, and distinctive, well built characters, makes it a complete, highly entertaining and addictive series.
Same, I knew it was good but never expected it to be THAT good.

Well, the myths and legends of people affect how they physically manifest, so... Combine that with Fate's tendency to say "well, history got it wrong" and basically any historical fact is changeable.

In 2009 I only started living alone after graduating school and going to university. I got my first ever "my own" laptop, on which I downloaded two anime series without knowing anything about them. One of them was Fate/Stay Night. No context, no hype or expectations, just an absolute journey.
Fate is a pretty mixed series. It has some really silly and sometimes dumb things, let's be real. At the same time it has some very awesome things and a bunch of moments that produce very real emotions. And the OST is just way too good.
Time is so mysterious....and the feelings at one point of time never comes back again....for some reason

The Fate franchise has such epic scenes & soundtracks. Definitely worth it, definitively a top tier series it lives up to the hype.
It's impresive how even if the 2006 anime was made on a smaller budget, it has still the best ost of all the fate series

This is one of my favorite OST. Fate has diversity of sounds, you find emotional, sad, happy, deep, epic, powerful, and above all, well composed music.

I have my own Fate playlist on my PC, but this one has a lot of good tracks I have not heard before (mostly from Studio Deen's UBW; I had no idea Kenji Kawai returned to compose music for it). 1:12:36 + 1:19:41 + 1:21:31 + 1:26:26 Am I the only one who needs a proper adaptation of Fate Saber route!! like seriously Deen did a injustice to that route with a rushed script + can't really expect much from 2006 animation either(Still my fav VN route and anime). Every time I watch saber cry in the end of F/zero on the hill of camlann my heart wants to watch her proper salvation with new animation+proper VN adaptation, but still #ufotable please Remake it. In an interview Nasu said that he also wants to remake Fate saber route but to do that he needs to rewrite the script of the VN+Anime and now that he took break from writing fgo lostbolt story I can expect Fate route animated after HF movie's +Tsukihime
I think we need a Medusa Rider route, that's just my opinion though.
Not just deen, no studio could of done justice to all 3 routes mashed into a single series. Deen did the best they could even with the UBW movie. Even Ufotables movies seem a lil rushed and they got a whole trilogy to worked with. Anyhow I agree we need A Fate route adaptation, I think we will get it in time tho, one can only hope
the need to remake the saber route.... the animation is not as good as the other routes

Unmei No Yoru. First Fate song I ever heard, there are so many top class ones... But that one is still my favorite after more than a decade. That song was my first slice of Fate. Watching and reading Fate came afterwards thanks to that one song

@@hesklairvoyant Well the plot of Apocrypha makes little sense, but the character arcs are great. Last Encore makes even less sense, but it has the great Nero (umu) Claudius.

@@spaceman607 the plot of last encore isn't bad, it just relies on you knowing the story of the game, since last encore was basically made for hard-core fans of the game, so people who didn't know the game struggled a lot to understand the story. the pretty unique visual style didn't help, especially during the fight against nursery rhyme, as it was a bit hard to tell exactly what was real-but this was intentional, the whole thing of the moon cell was that it manifested itself differently to everyone inside, and what's true from someone's perception may not be true to anothers

Just started Fate recently, and If something I liked about It is def the OSTs, also how rich and complex the story is, to the point that It has been the 1st series out of all that I wanted more than just what the anime provides, from VNs to lore videos about FGO or even Fate Extra games (can't find time to play them all unfortunately). Fate truly does live up to the hype, I wish It was more animated, like at least all the 5 singularities between Fuyuki and Camelot, but that doesn't take away the fun by any mean.
