drummer of omenkiller here, it is tape underneath the cymbals to quiet them for the recording. in the LCY videos, it’s played “live” but the song audio is dubbed over the video. Hope this helps!

I'm always curious why drummers choose their kit, and his is... Enormous. Your kit is pretty much functionally awesome, so is adding more pieces better or ruining the flow?
@@mynameisntleo you’re all good! i used to play on a much larger kit, but for touring on our scale having a smaller kit is very very nice. also sleep token definitely has a different drumming style than us, so II’s kit needs to be larger and more complex for their style!
