Four simple steps to help Kimura, 1. Meter to track slowness progress 2. High M1 damage on block 3. Make it so that when MAX slow is reached, it won't wear off for a short amount of time (maybe around 30 seconds) 4. Ultimate automatically applies a moderate dose of slowness debuff (come on, all those body blows and it doesn't do anything)
Kimura style is heavily reliant on strategies, and more of a long-drawn battles type of style. Change my mind :d Also an idea i had in mind for Kimura is that he should have a special ability to be an out-boxer for 15~20-ish seconds, while having the cooldown of 30 seconds. Since in the anime He's more of an out-boxer that decided to be an in-fighter, A better source is when he fought Mashiba, When Mashiba said: "I heard he was an out-boxer, yet he's courting an in-fight." Also this special ability could give him more speed and range on his m1's and m2's while keeping his damage, and removing his Slowness debuff and Ult. And also changing his m1's and m2's to Jabs(M1) Cross(m2) Why Ultimate and Slowness. you may ask? It's because Kimura at that time didn't have his dragonfish blow, and was reliant on his jabs and cross. before his fight with Mashiba was scheduled. Here's a better source. Miyata:I don't see any flaws, in the other hand. You don't display any strength either.
it took around 18 body blow to actually make your oppoment suffer from debuff, kimura is good choice to use against style that has great dash (like really great dash spammer counter)
5:51 it is not just you, I use ippo and I’m a world champ and lately it’s been feeling like a lot of the faster styles including counter have just become weirdly hard to dodge when they combo extend like that. Even when I mashing spacebar in anticipation of it I will still get caught 🤷♀
Good video, but new video on a new style when? Reason: DrowningSome just added a new Rare style, the charge style. It may be the first Rare style to have an unique ability. It, unfortunately, doesn't have a backdash. It also has a gimmick that when you use the ability, the m1s change.
I encountered lots of bug in UBG 1. When Hawk PD an attack, his light can't be seen, only him doing the hawk stance. 2. Delay Dodge 3. Screen goes Extremely Bright after get K.O by Iron Fist Ult
There’s apparently this goofy bug with smash when u land a counter and instantly heavy it 100% guarantees to land i think this works for freedom aswell in smash mode but idk
I’ve tried Kimura and what I like about it is not the slow down but the overhand, lol. Add that into some easy lights and you Kimura is actually not bad
There’s a thing that you can do with smash to get a free M2 you need to counterpunch them with the M1 then M2 right after the timing is hard could be a glitch though. I don’t know if this works with freedom though.
i don't have problems with the slowness because i play aggresive with kimura, and it's one of my three mains that i use, the reason, it's so fun to play kimura not gonna lie, i'll love to see the reactions of my rivals when they lose to a kimura using high tier styles (the only ones that a hate to play against, with all of my style is bullet because i don't now how to counter it, and hitman)
In the way I've learned this game, which, I've been in since Beta, I'll say this: Yes, playing aggressively, or in-fighting, has its risks, HOWEVER, with proper techniques, you can MITIGATE the risks with precise strategies. That is the main way I have come to understanding aggression, since I've been in-fighting with Cork since day 1. ALSO AN EDIT I REMEMBERED: Abilities aside, Corkscrew and Kimura both have similar timings and form, such as the M2's coming from one side. Slightly slower startup is what discourages most, but again, through technique, can be overcome. I believe the only thing that sets Cork from Kimura, is the abilities alone. Cork has a stronger m2 along with being able to quickly heal soft-damage, (dark red hp.) Kimura mains get my respect, because now, its very rare to see experienced Kimura mains. The ones that exist at the high levels probably have worked hard to be able to find strategies to better use the style. I honestly think Kimura needs another buff.
@@Yuusha_arisukimura at iron fist release was basically a motorcycle making you permanent on a wheelchair Meanwhile the release of iron fist puts you to a truck kun moment 💀
I haven't used my #2 style here in a bit, probably because Freedom's kinda taken the spot. But when I use Kimura, I just see it as a well tuned balance style, not noticing the slow or anything, just having a good time. Hopefully a few more people try it out a bit now.
What i hope for kimura : New passive : If the guard broken and we do M2 the damage more huge then usual. New ability : Name : punish punch Kimura go forward with punch the damage it's not to much but the block damage its huge.
Man, I play with Kimura from time to time and in many cases this style takes a long time to take down or beat someone, you need to have your reflexes and blows up to date because it requires patience but I don't think this style is bad but a few changes wouldn't be bad at all do not agree?
Either make current slowness last forever until a knockdown (doesnt matter if opponent or yourself) Or buff how much slowness is applied. Or maybe just make slow bypass block instead of only keeping the slow to ACTUALLY be able to apply slow. 99% of shots are going to be blocked unless you're playing poke that does no damage so itll take 5 years + massive chance of getting PD'ed or ran away from because of bad range. Right now all of the weaknesses overnerfed it into oblivion. You can never even get a noticeable level of slow at all. Borderline placebo effect 💀
by following the hand where you have to dodge you need to dash where the hand goes like left and right and no maybe youre just dumb and dont even know how to perfect dodge
Why kimura still need more buff and good speed. 1.) Heavy attack. "when i used this the heavy is too slow it must be like wolf style heavy like 2 punches in 4-5 seconds and light every 1.5 seconds" 2.) Ultimate. it must makes enemy gotten like 15 HP or 16HP its own ultimate is way insane to sue also it got bit nerfed.
kimura need buff, i mean like a buff because kimura now its more like basic style with different Movement i have idea for admin maybe kimura just need change the gimmic with i called step in thats make kimura front dash Will more easy or can perfect dodge or maybe kimura debuff need something different with the gimmic maybe add something like if opponent get debuff kimura will get buff maybe speed or damage or block For the cost it will drain more stamina if kimura doesnt give debuff or the ultimate just have 45 - 40 damage Thats my idea
Kimura is just basic but worse 😔 Same speed m2, slower m1 speed than basic and same range and WAYYY less damage than basic for a useless passive. It REALLY needs a better passive or damage buff, the ultimate is fine as it is.
It is only good on certain match up where either the debuff can be easily stacked or the debuff is crippling to the opponent style (for example slugger)
Kimura needs a rework ngl
Edit: Did not expect this much likes

Sad fact: we barely see him in the manga, so we cant see him getting some new skill or power
Agree

@anthonydemory4991 yes.
Kimura's slowness works if you kept pressuring and you'll able to counter them more than usual with a little debuff applied
Bad style asides
I love how on 5:34 it plays Kimura's theme on the Hajime no Ipoo game

Screw style tier lists, next video should be an Ult animation tier list
tbh the buff was good, what made it still be bad was the fadeout time nerf(its really short)

M1 should leave less healing so it is not completely trash in dealing damage when stacking debuff
I feel like they should have a meter type ability where it gives a bunch of slowness a body blow like hammer but it doesn't break guard
They could also add an icon of the debuff being applied, but only you could see it. So you can play around that easier
Seeing that UCA shirt only makes me wish it would come back to its glory even more.

Sir, where did the last frame from the anime come from?
Everyone talking about Kimura
Me wondering what the music names are in this video
4:30 how do u perfect dodge?
by following the hand where you have to dodge you need to dash where the hand goes like left and right and no maybe youre just dumb and dont even know how to perfect dodge
Dodge the opposite way the punch is coming from within the right timeframe, so if they punch from their right you have to dodge to your left
in my opinion, Kimura should apply heavy debuff on ult, since he barrages your ribs
Why kimura still need more buff and good speed.
1.) Heavy attack.
"when i used this the heavy is too slow it must be like wolf style heavy like 2 punches in 4-5 seconds and light every 1.5 seconds"

Freedom ult kinda good
But the rework in sound is fire
It’s kinda cool and the sound effect though I like sluggers ult music more
The issue I find is his attacks are slow af and his damage is kinda sad. Buff the speed and chip damage a bit and I think he’s good from there
I feel like slugger pretty much died after the rollback update
why is it similar to the last "buffed but still bad" video
I would like to see the mestle style (Alfredo Gonzales style)😊
My man doesnt take advantage of lag what a. chad🗿🗿
When I used it I never saw it’s slow effect
remember when myhtic smash or smash buffs? yeah me neither
when will the new update come out?
How much does my October (ancetral effect) cost? Im new to trading so I don't know the price
Kimura's stamina consumption debuff still works somehow
i dint notice the buff actualy and i main kimmura, but good i guess
If the debuff remains after a down, will it be too op?
Kimura needs an entire rework. Drown if you see this or any comment. Just freaking rework it completely. There no reason it should still be this bad.
yow Is it just me that hands low is good?
Rework kimura
Can the game fix the lag,the was broken ngl
I'll try it out after I got my third style slot

Kimura actually good now
Bro is that Tyler your fighting ain’t no way that dude was so annoying bro
Kimura needs a balanced buff and rework
Kimura needs range ain’t he an outboxer
I see that Kimura m2 is like an anti-heal,well that's kind of crazy
Idk if I'm wrong,I'm still watching the vid
I meant m1 not m2
All style m2s stops the Regen completely
I made a mistake,I meant the m1

hiiiiiiiiiiiii i like youre videoooooooooooos
Hi
A couple other styles that need buffs rn are hands low and shotgun tbh.
I don't care about Kimura style is shit or bad asf I have 2 reasons on why I love the Kimura style 1# cool ult and 2# Kimura is my favorite character
The ult is brutal
Kimura is dead style, but skill
kimura need buff, i mean like a buff because kimura now its more like basic style with different Movement
i have idea for admin maybe kimura just need change the gimmic with i called step in thats make kimura front dash Will more easy or can perfect dodge
or maybe kimura debuff need something different with the gimmic maybe add something like if opponent get debuff kimura will get buff maybe speed or damage or block
For the cost it will drain more stamina if kimura doesnt give debuff or the ultimate just have 45 - 40 damage
Thats my idea
Kimura is just basic but worse 😔
Same speed m2, slower m1 speed than basic and same range and WAYYY less damage than basic for a useless passive. It REALLY needs a better passive or damage buff, the ultimate is fine as it is.
Kimura Is Just Basic But Lower Overall Damage and a Slow Kinda Mid In My Opinion
it's good in the right hands
It is only good on certain match up where either the debuff can be easily stacked or the debuff is crippling to the opponent style (for example slugger)
Kimura has 3 buffs per update and still the trash style the devs really hates kimura that bad?
Pls buff my magnificent shotgun pls
