Seeing Brian's name was a nice blast to the past. Watching his power query video's on UA-cam was what got me excited and what made me realize the power in Power Query. Had been following his UA-cam channel since but there never was any movement. Happy to see there is a blog that has great content. Thank you both for sharing all this with the community!
Great job! I am teaching students beginning DAX right now and I will definitely be referring them to this video. I love the way you describe the temp tables and the list of filters. And I have mad respect for anyone who tries to use beginner friendly terminology. Very nicely done!
Excellent presentation Brian. A million thank you-s for your empathy and willingness to not only teach but make students understand. Other instructors just show off and make you feel stupid (not on purpose) and give up. Wish I discovered you earlier, but I am glad I did, so I'm watching everything you have ever published😃
in my opinion the music in the background is more annoying than helping i stop 3 times to check if this is outside of the presentation :-) just to understand it is part of the youtube
Thanks for the feedback, it goes either way for people. Many like it, and a few don't :) I took a page from Guy in A Cube who always has soft background music playing, and that helps to fill in empty sound space if there's a technical issue or a delay for the presenter.
This is probably the best evaluation context video on youtube.

Watching this video is like listening to Jimi Hendrix, everytime you see it again, you discover something new... amazing!!
