I've been messing around with the trial version of Fabric on my new MPC Key-37 and have been really impressed with it. This is a really powerful piece of software and I would definitely consider it essential for any keyboard MPC. I'm going to purchase it.

Congrats! You'll have enough sound material to last you like....forever! I would also highly suggest investing in JURA and MINI D for some dedicated analog flavor to fill in the gap(s) with some amazing Pads and very useful Bass choices. I plan on covering these in some future videos, so don't forget to subscribe and click the notification bell. You don't want to miss them. Just about all sounds that Akai is offering are quite premium and the UI's are quite user friendly. Thanks for stopping by My DAWless Addiction! Now go make some music!

@@My-Dawless-Addiction Thanks. Yeah. I went on and purchased Fabric yesterday. I knew I had to have it the moment I started coming up with creative ideas and making beats immediately upon trying it out. It literally kept me up overnight all the way through over half of the next day the first night I tried it. I look forward to your demo of Mini D and Jura. I just subscribed.

@@kvmoore1 Thanx for the SUB! Congrats on the Fabric XL All Nighter Zone (LOL!). Been there on more than one occasion! Sounds can really inspire a lot of creative ideas, and it doesn't take much to end up down in that rabbit hole! Again, Thanks a lot for the support. Stay tuned! - in the middle of a move (ugh) so it might be a hot minute for the next video. Need to get situated and reconfigure the studio set up, then right back at it. Now go make some more music! 😎👍

Thanks for the watching. Currently all of my sound library are stored in a removable thumb drive. When choosing any sound source needed for a track program I get instant access all sources. The only time I may have to wait for a sound to become active to play is when loading anything from Fabric XL, Stage Piano, and Electric Piano. This is normal because the XL programs are more complex and detailed, thus take a moment to load with the slightly limited processing power of the MPC's (ie: the MPC's do not have the dedicated processing power that our Mac book pro's and higher end PC's that are the norm). You can experience lesser load times with the normal (non-XL version) of Fabric that should have come with your Fabric XL sounds. They are the same sounds, but slightly less detailed/complex, and seem to load a bit faster. Thanks, again. Happy to help. Let e know if you have anything else.
