XXV was released to celebrate The Jolly Rogers' 25th anniversary! The physical release included 2 discs with the first being a mix of songs like you'd find on all our albums and the second being all shanties, all the time!

great song and truer now then back then-great song-can't go wrong with old Kipling-there is a singer named Leslie Fish- a well known singer in the s/f world (1000 plus songs) who does lot of Kipling too-met her several times and playes 12 string guitar

Actually, we first heard the song as part of Sting's musical, The Last Ship. It's in the public domain but isn't traditional - lyrics were by Rudyard Kipling.
