Bukit Bintang, also known as Bintang Walk or Starhill, is a vibrant shopping and entertainment district in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s a popular destination among both tourists and locals, particularly the youth.
The district is centered around Jalan Bukit Bintang, a road that starts at Raja Chulan Road and ends at Pudu Road. The area is home to many landmark shopping centers, al-fresco cafés, bars, night markets, food streets, mamak stalls, and hawker-type eateries.
In addition to its bustling daytime activities, Bukit Bintang is also known for its vibrant nightlife. The streets are lined with skyscrapers, luxurious malls, five-star hotels, exquisite fashion boutiques, and hundreds of entertainment venues.
One of the unique features of Bukit Bintang is the Shibuya-style pedestrian crossing at the junction of Bukit Bintang, located in front of the iconic McDonald’s Bukit Bintang outlet, just below the KL Monorail Line. This was created by the local municipal and authority, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), to increase walkability in the area.
Bukit Bintang has a rich history. In the past, it was a residential area and the only street that had entertainment, shops, and hawker food. Over the years, it has transformed into a commercial, shopping, and entertainment Mecca.

I recommend you to come to ICC Pudu in the morning when you come to KL again next time !!!! There has so many options for everyone to eat breakfast 😊 ICC Pudu this place you will love it immediately. And also recommend you try to visit Taman Connaught Cheras Night Market. It opens every Wednesdays. It's the longest night Market in Malaysia.😊

Dude this is literally one of the fanciest places I’ve ever been to and I’m from SF! Literally saw so many Lambos Ferraris and bentleys everywhere. The Pavillion mall is an ultra high end shopping mall with literally every designer brand in existence even the rlly boutique ones. There’s so many Luxery hotels here to, I was at the ritz but they had a four season, JW Marriott, st Regis, EQ, and we’re building a Waldorf Astoria. I even saw the new rolls Royce specter there. Super nice place, rlly upscale.
