- In this episode things really start to get intense for me.. I added 2 new mods, one being the Midnight Lurker, and another called "The End Of Herobrine" which makes him more aggressive. At this point everything is out to get me, and no one can be trusted

Yup, if i recall, you are able to kill the Cave Dweller, Evolved Cave Dweller, Midnight Lurker(with ease actually), and I think the One Who Watches. The Man from the fog seems basically immortal and can 2 shot you with iron armor, your best bet is to hide under water or inside of a building but not in trees. If you go a certain amount if blocks above him, he just nails you with lightning.
@FitCereal there's a new dweller you can add. I think he's called the fog dweller.
unlike the rest of the "-dwellers" this one doesn't make a noise and despawns if it's even a pixel on your screen. but it does something else then you'd have to see for yourself if you do add it 😉
the end of herobrine was the first mod i got before i switched to from the fog. the two of them are different based on your settings (i disabled the jumpscare mechanic, the base burning and the crashing mechanic in FTF). what i've come to realise is using the both of them makes the whole experience way more unpredictable AND it in a way gives herobrine a personality that's almost passive-aggressive? just judging you from afar one day then building structures to annoy you or giving you a heart attack or sending possessed mobs after you just to be a nuisance, then immediately going back to judging you and being a weirdo. using them together makes it a lot more busy but i genuinely think it also makes him WAY more unpredictable!
lurker is a nuisance though. it's cuter than the man from the fog but he's like that little cousin asking you if you have games on your phone. i play with the mod because its funny to me (im so desensitised to them at this point) but in terms of a play-through, it can be a little... annoying. honestly i suggest keeping the new herobrine mod but getting rid of the lurker is up to how you want to play the game.
i think you should also look into getting "the one who watches." he is so GHASTLY and horrible to work with but he is THE SCARIEST out of the lot of them in my opinion. not fun for play-throughs though unless you have friends because he's immune to damage. he has mechanics you can get used to (footsteps to know where he is, whispering to know if he's really close etc) in order to avoid him but it takes a long ass time so take the watcher with a pinch of salt.
I may remove the lurker I agree. And dude he's INSANE. He likes pops up in your face out of nowhere dude I'll die in real life 😭 I may do a spin off vid with him, I think I'm definitely gonna add him in some way

Great video, for the house improvements, I would get yourself a stone cutter, that way you have more variety of deep slate and other stones you wanna use. Also it’s cheaper to make stairs with the stone cutter.
The mods I think are fine. If I personally had to choose a mod to get rid of, I’d honestly go for the weather mod. The spooky ones are keeping you occupied often, if a F5 tornado hits your house, you’re screwed. That’s just what I’d go for, up to you bro.
If you are to add another mod I’d love to see something with weeping angels or something. Once again up to you.
I’m really enjoying this series, I still love the fact that you’re a creator who genuinely cares about your content and your Audience. Please keep up the good work.

I think the tornado deflector I have in my house protects me, but I'm not 100% haha. I'm beyond thankful for the support from everyone, a channel was a childhood dream of mine, took me years to get the courage. Beyond thankful.

5:57 I had no idea those structures could just appear like that. I know they're from the End of Herobrine, but I thought only the letters could appear nearby (usually when away and not in view range). I guess I was wrong.
6:13 😱Holy... I did _not_ know they could do _*that*_. If that's a bug with the textures loading, then that's one evil bug. If that's a feature, you're the first one I've seen to have that happen so far. It reminds me how spiders on harder difficulties/longer periods can have potion effects (including invisibility). But this seems to be a feature of the entity and super creepy.
6:45 That was genuinely creepy. Really living up to the "lurker" part of the name.
7:22 Beware of possessed silverfish. They'll teleport you away. But I think you know that now. A lot of structures from the End of Herobrine are infested with those.
7:36 Lava is a great way to remove troublesome silverfish. Maybe next time break the walls/roof and watch them burn. 😉Also, tools with the Silk Touch enchantment can break infested blocks without triggering silverfish spawns. (Not sure if the Herobrine mod changes any of that, but I know it works in vanilla.)

20:00 Those noises can be lowered/muted by using the Jukebox/Note Blocks volume slider in the options. (Someone else had this same issue and finally found the sounds are tied to that sound category for some reason.)

I'm really enjoying this series so far. It's nice to see people not familiar with the mods learning as they go and having genuine reactions to the horrors they bring.
Might I echo some other comments and suggest The One Who Watches? It's a more subtle yet horrifying entity to complement the overt presence style of ones like Man from the Fog. Just be forewarned, it's a lot better at creepy lurking and jumpscares than the others are.

That was single handedly the worst scare I've ever had in my life 😂 I got off for the night after that happened. Finished the recording the next day 😂 I don't do horror AT ALL. This is all new to me
I'd probably adjust the other herobrine mod to where he doesn't build (or tone it down) and turn off the music if it impedes gameplay too much
Also I think shaders may look nice, maybe that insanity shader where it makes the world look spookier?
Other than that, I'm liking this series so far!
I forgot that was possible, do you know where to adjust the mod? And I am I'm the process of getting shaders still, I spent hours trying to only to learn that optifine is a pain to get running with mods. I was told there were other options that I have yet to try
@@FitCerealyou can use rubidium + oculus these mods are ports of sodium and iris to forge which you can use to get your shaders working
@@FitCereal Optifine is too invasive with underlying game changes so it doesn't play well with many other mods. Oculus is your best bet for shaders. (It's an unofficial port of Iris to Forge, but I've heard it works well and others use it for non-Fabric modpacks.) Plus, some shaders are now requiring Iris (or Oculus) and dropping Optifine support due to it being limited in its shader pipeline.
But I do also recommend the Insanity shader for super-spooky horror movie/Lovecraftian vibes. That or Spooklementary (a horror-style edit of Complementary shaders).

I love all of these mods. It seems a little much at times but it’s really entertaining to watch. Please keep sacrificing your sanity for our enjoyment. I also love the longer video format.

I just wanna say good job on gaining, like, 400 subscribers in just a few days, the second episode you had like, 550 ish which is when I subscribed and now it's almost 1k, genuinly impressive.
on a different note, I feel like adding the midnight lurker is just one to many things in the world, but end of herobrine makes sense as a next step of what would happen, where he actually interacts, though maybe the buildings that he makes are too much from time to time.
Also I really like the house, lol. Worried for the next time a tornado blows over because that's gonna cause a lot of damage.

I don't know what version you're using.... but I would suggest adding Sanity: Descent Into Madness. It takes the creepyness and paranoia to a new level.
(Plus, I'd suggest getting a dog, they will growl and whine when Herobrine is near, and if they're not sitting they'll go after him (No negative consequences for the dog though)
I'm using 1.20.1! I really want shaders, I tried to get optifine to work for days but I didn't know its not really compatible with mods anymore. I was given advice for alternative ways ill definitely try before the next episode. and WOAH I actually had no idea, ill be sure to do that thank you!

To be honest, I find the midnight lurker and man from the fog and all those really annoying at this point. Like, From the Fog is about subtle horror, and I feel the others just take away from the horror, especially at night where it’s supposed to be really eerie. Is it just me? Or am I dumb?

The midnight lurker can not only spawn multiple times in the cave but also on the surface. Multiple ones can spawn all at once

I agree with the structures for sure, apparently I can modify the mod and tone those down a little, going to have to figure out how
I reccomend using the stone cutter for your cobble and other stones so you can have more stylosh blocks for less resources

I removed his ability to build stuff, sadly you can't lower how often he does it. And I have a 3060ti, amd ryzen 5 5600x cpu Asrock x570 phantom gaming 4 motherboard. And I believe I have 32g ram, I think 😂
you should put pistons with cobbel on a lever by your door so that you can just pull the lever and the doors will get blocked

You could make a 2 floor but you also could use a fence around it and maybe put some plants or carpet on it

I think you can make them less intense through the config. From the Fog has a ingame config - type "/function fromthefog:admin/config" in the chat.
P.S. Tornado can destroy you house, so better remove the mod.
Ahhh okay I NEED to do that haha. And it's already happened off camera once 😂 that's why there are a bunch of trees with no leaves near my house. I have a tornado deflector in my house that I would hope will keep me safe haha
