"A lot of the women who worked in Hollywood [at the time I came up] really kind of practiced 'The Queen Bee Syndrome,'" says 'The Hateful Eight' producer Stacey Sher. "There was only a limited number of people at the table and they weren't really helpful, necessarily. I think it's changed a lot now. I think we all kind of try to lift everybody up."
Sher joins Ice Cube ('Straight Outta Compton'), Steve Golin ('The Revenant', 'Spotlight'), Simon Kinberg ('The Martian'), Christine Vachon ('Carol') and Scott Cooper ('Black Mass') for The Hollywood Reporter's Producer Oscar Roundtable.
THR's Roundtables air on Sundance TV. The shows air Sunday at 8 a.m. PT on channel 557 on DirecTV, 126 on Dish nationwide and at 11 a.m. ET/PT on cable (channel 625 on TWC in L.A., 94 in NYC).

ice cube is the best producer low budget and make most of it and when he write the story or music thats gone be dope he have his hands on everything and anything he is and gone be some good positiv dopewhat he touches and created is ownw genre and rember is from the ghetto of south cetral la not from well be people back than is roots was the street no he learned from experience and no body gived to him best actors and music rapper of all time he now busnisses the man from the ghetto!!

Wow! Tough crowd. I know, it was going around. I mean, Amy Pascal didn't deserved what she got. But, I remember this last year. Every interviewer on every talk show was asking politicians, actors, actresses, writers, producers, directors, about the Sony Hack. I remember when Amy Adams was banned from going on a talk-show, bc she didn't want to talk about it. Now, its here too. No celebrity didn't want to talk about it. I just thought, bringing it up here, Matthew&Stephen made the wrong move bringing it up again when it just ended months ago. I mean, come on! It's old news. Why would you bring it up again? Every1 just went all weird. That was an awkward moment. No offense, to anyone else, but this was getting to become good until that question came up and every1 went silent. That kinda freaked me out. Tough crowd, though :O o_O
