Mary, one of the things that makes your channel so unique is that we don’t see a huge haul of things you’ve gone out and purchased and styled within your home. So many UA-camrs go out and shop and spend hundreds of dollars on things for their homes which puts pressure on viewers, who may not have the funds to do that. And, like you said, if you feel you need something new in a space, you make it. Thank you for that…means a lot where gas prices are almost $4/gallon and grocery prices are crazy! Cindi (from WV). 🥰

Loved everything about this video. I am 73, born and raised in Ohio and we raised our two daughters here too. There is nowhere I would rather be. I love all the seasons, but Spring is my favorite. I simply love all the new life springing forth. It reminds me of Jesus and the new life He offers us. I live on a lake and this evening a pair of geese that I feed brought their 7 newly hatched babies for me to see. They are so tiny and cute...Little balls of yellow fluff.

Mary, I agree with your sister about watering your plants on a schedule. My late sister (who could grow ANYTHING!) had hers on a schedule - she actually had it marked on her calendar!
This video was really well done. Excellent use of voice over, ambient sounds with underlying soft music and slo-mo shots of the house decor and garden. Plus, you removed the intro which was a good idea because it’s not needed. Two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽

Mary, all of your little touches are so refreshing especially the round tray with the fresh tulips, bee saucers and bright lemons. I love that simple look. I remember when you made the screen door. It looks so nice ~ I can almost hear that slamming shut sound. That sound along with the birds singing reminds me of wonderful childhood memories on the farm.

Pool noodles are great for keeping furniture covers in place. Cut them to size and smoosh them in the folds where the cushions, arms and back meet. I tied ribbon loops around mine so they're easier to retrieve.
That's a wonderful idea!
I have used the noodle idea for couch on our RV for the last two years. It works great. If you don’t want to buy noodle you can roll up magazines and use them.
So peaceful to watch and enjoy the final results. I teeter on picking some of my tulips, love them both outside and in.

Mary, you could pull out your sewing machine and do a button hole for the hole on the dish towel. It will stand up better when you wash the towel.

I cover my brand new sleeper sofa sectional too. I have a kitty and no matter how much I brush him he sheds. Aloe is a succulent and doesn't require a weekly watering. It's only mid April here in S Texas and it's already hot. Our spring comes in February.

I change out my couch throws and cushion covers for lighter colours.some new green plants 🪴 also brings the feeling of spring inside, I love Ivy and Boston ferns.and cleaning the windows help to transform my home looking forward to sunshine and warmth .love from Ireland ☘️💚

Oh yes , definitely you need a watering schedule for houseplants! I check for water every week and if a plant is not happy where it’s at I move it until I find it’s happy spot 😅. I’m not even that keen on houseplants but I need something to grow during winter .I love your back deck where you here the spring ! I’d live on that rocking chair 😅
