This is absolutely my favorite Eno recording. The rolling bass and transitions are beautiful, and the intro to Fat Lady with the ambient background sound is awesome.

He's been a factor in my life since the first Roxy Music album. Saw Roxy Music when he was still in the band at The Whiskey in LA. He was outside handing out ENO buttons! Between Bryan and ENO competing for attention - you could tell that band would not last with those two.

I'm shocked there are no previous comments on this performance. The versions of these songs are absolutely brilliant while totally different from the studio ones. How could he remake (remodel) these weird songs ( or on the case of "Fever", take a standard rhythm and blues tune and make it weird) and make them ROCK so hard, like these were the kind of songs they were all along?!!! The genius of it is so subtle and seamless, it doesn't seem possible.... Wow.

Saw the band at Reading Town Hall a week before this was recorded. It was my first gig at the tender age of 15. Met Brian after the gig and got his autograph on a poster advertising the Here Come the Warm Jets album. I still have it after all these years. I also have a Melody Maker tour date advert which lists the complete tour schedule.
There is a WIKI stating that Eno was rushed to hospital after the 6th gig of the tour (Guildford Feb 20th). This is obviously false. The band played Bradford the day after this recording and there is a crappy bootleg of that gig available on the web somewhere.
Not sure when they had to cancel the tour because of Brian's collapsed lung, but it was definitely some time after the Bradford gig of Feb 27th.
For those who are interested in the band line up:
    Brian Turrington - Bass
    Mike Desmarais - Drums
    Philip Rambow - Guitar
    Guy Humphries - Guitar

It seems there's an effect on the voice, but I'm not so sure. Anyway performance is first class.

Wait, Fat Lady seems to be missing from this recording...I'm confused. I expected it was part of this session! ua-cam.com/video/7vnJicSWhDY/v-deo.html
