Ok, since we're straying from K.E. towards the topic of famous Ottawa-ians, how 'bout Princess Louise - Queen Victoria's sportiest, raciest, and most artistic daughter? You know, the one Lake Louise was named after? Her husband was Canada's Governor General from 1878. An accomplished artist and sculptor, and the most down-to-earth Royal of the era, she spent plenty of time in Ottawa. She was also known to have been in bed with another artist, at the time of his demise (from strenuous activity??)! :^>
I’m sorry. I was listening to what she said and watching the (local) scenery, not dreaming fanboy fantasies about her. I have avoided offers to meet her as a fan as they seemed inopportune times for her. She does run that Cafe, after all. I appreciate her music.
Saw her 7 times. Met her 6 times. Buffalo, Kent OH, and Pittsburgh. Just don't try to talk to her or Jim Bryson when a hockey game is on TV. Her first three albums are among my absolute favorites.
