Here is my trailer for what a Routh/Bale World's Finest movie could have looked like if it would have happened. I'm very happy with how the dialogue was able to play together and very happy with some of my edits I accomplished for this. What would you want to happen if this movie was made? @UncleMikeNJ Exactely both heroes always work together to fight for us, not against each other. When I go out as cosplay Superman Reeve and meet a Batman cosplayer, children always ask me why we don't fight as we should. I answer them we work together and they are speechless.

God, I love seeing Batman compliment Superman. Yes, they're gonna bicker, they're very different people, they have very different opinions about this, that, and the other. But they're BEST FRIENDS. Why is it so hard to put that on film?

It wasn’t a vs movie in the sense if they were fighting to defeat one another, they were being manipulated to fight each other by Luthor. I get these fan made edits are good but Snyder made two very good DCEU films

Even though Nolan would say a Superman wouldn't work in the kind of realistic universe he created with the trilogy, Bale and Routh make a convincing super hero duo. And I think you pulled it off here.

Honestly, I think it could've worked because Superman was away. The world of Batman Begins (Not-so-much TDK or TDKRises) totally could be set during Superman's absence IMO. In fact, that was literally the plan. WB planned a Batman and Superman film after Begins and while making Superman Returns (And its predecessor Superman Flyby). Superman Returns' box office is what canned Batman / Superman Asylum.
Well the idea is that while they do come from different backgrounds and how their world revolves around them. Superman was always about defying laws of physics and comes from an advanced race with god like powers but holds back on using them to their full potential unless he’s facing someone who is twice as strong as he is.
Batman always was about practical and semi-realistic since he comes from a place where technology is being developed and advanced like in real life. Batman always doesn’t hold back on beating up the criminals but he doesn’t kill criminals.
This was everything I wanted to see as a kid, these versions of the World’s Finest teaming up. It’ll never happen, but you put a little bit of reality into that dream. Thank you!

Batman Begins and Superman Returns should’ve led up to Batman v Superman.
Both movies were one year apart from each other. Both movies were fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Both movies looked and felt like they could’ve been connected.
Superman Returns referenced Gotham, and outgrossed Batman Begins. I Am Legend teased Batman v Superman with Routh’s logo on it.

This was one of my childhood wishes, Bale's Batman and Routh's Superman together starring in a movie. But unfortunately that didn't happen. I was born in the year 2000.

It's all apart of the plan while Joker was unleashed his machine gun on Superman gave me chills. Masterful work all around. Excellent job!
As much as I enjoy the ultimate edition of BvS as an adult. My childhood self to this day wishes this was a reality. Back then, I imagine that a BvS movie with Bale and Routh would've been released in 2010. I know that Routh's Superman would not fit in Nolan's world, but god damn it Routh and Bale can be a good duo together. Even though I enjoy Superman Returns as a kid, I kinda wish that his Superman would've been a new Superman that has nothing to do about the Christopher Reeve's version, but instead it's about his early days similar to Bale's Batman. If Routh's Superman was proven to be successful, then we could have the team up with Bale's Batman happen.

I wanted to stay away from Spacey's Lex as much as possible, for obvious reasons. But I believe that would happen if they made this movie all those years ago.

It would’ve been an interesting BVS since Bale’s Batman doesn’t kill and Routh’s Superman isn’t that affected by Kryptonite

The only REAL World's Finest movie we ever got was in the DCAU in the 90s, and I still like it a lot more than Batman v Superman. No political crap about whether or not Superman can be trusted even though he saved the world, just Batman and Superman at odds with each other at first but then they join forces because Superman can't match Joker's cunning and Luthor's tech outclasses Batman's.

I usually critique fan made stuff and I do critique the current DC universe movies. But this? This was brilliant you knocked it out of the park. This looks like a story from a comic book not a Hollywood interpretation. He did an excellent job editing and caring the trailer through from start to finish. I had to tell you this because as much as I could people want someone does a good job they deserve a standing ovation. Which you do. For all the new fans who don’t like the stuff because it’s old or or somewhere in the Zack Snyder universe this is what it is all about great job keep it up maybe do more which you do. AKA. Deadpool imposes HISHES on ALL the Actuals X-Men Movies that result in the most chaotically, deadliest way. The Deadpool Way
Imagine The Endgame Time Heist, but a) The stones are replaced by Deadpool's favourite characters of the all the X-Men movies, like X-23, his secondary cast, Peter, and actors from both the Stewart and the McAvoy Timeline. 2) While he is in the past (aka. An specific movie), he Makes Sure the Ancient One's warning on time travel goes on FULL effect, oh and he kills every unsuccesful character too. And C) Once he comes back with everyone he "saved"/recruited, he's gonna put them aside... To kill MOST of everyone else on HIS timeline (maybe with the song "I'm So Excited" by the Pointer Sisters on the background, idk, sounds good), only so to cause his present to lead directly into Logan (2017). That results into A) Making sure that, chronologically, That one is the final X-Men Movie, and B) Allowing himself to be able to recruit X-23 along so that, as this Universe falls down, they all get picked up by MCU's Wanda Maximoff desire to get her brother back, which, accidentally, brings Deadpool's "rescued" mutants and humans, and himself, into the MCU.
Alternatively, I feel like the "Kill the Barakapool" scene from the post-credit scene, is gonna be expanded, so that he gets to kill him in every way possible.

Don’t know if you all remember, but there was a rumor during Dent’s announcement scene that Kate Bosworth’s Lois Lane was supposed to be in that press conference, essentially tying those two properties with a shared universe. Obviously that didn’t happen but this is the next, and best, closest thing. WELL DONE!!!

I remember when my dad saw the Kingdom Come Superman suit for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, and when he saw it was also Routh playing as Superman, he went crazy saying it was the best live action suit for Superman ever.
