Thanks!
we used to pull 3 to 5 tons of ship offshore by using this method. Big ships were pulled offshore by using another method manually. It reduces manpower to pull heavy objects.
Really appreciate this ! Borrowed the 6 pulley block and tackle, but had no way to figure out how to use it. Now I'm ready to go lowering 5 - 120 pound blocks from an old chimney down through the living room ceiling. Thanks again.
Ok , so this is a force multiplier correct ? If so how do you calculate the amount of pull before the rope fails. N other words, can’t he rated rope strength be multiplied by the amount of pulley sleeves ? Anyone ?
Using my wife’s account, to leave a comment. Horrible camera work and a very weak job of describing how to do that. When you want to describing how to do something in an instructional video. Maybe try and imagine your audience like it’s fourth graders so you can dumb it down. Sorry to be so harsh, but that was a waste of five minutes.

Done correctly, learned to do it this way and used at my job for the next 41 years.

Becket is basically a clove around the rope. Also helpful video. But much more helpful if the blocks were hung.
Thank you, good to know. It's better when they run smoothly.

Thank you so much , I have been wanting to know the proper way are corect way to do this ,I thank you sir very much.
Thanks you did a nice job and solved a problem for me 😀
Why are the blocks perpendicular to each other?
Why start in the middle of one?
Lots of why's.
Excellent practical video - thank you.
what brand are these or could you tell me where i could buy these?
Nicely done, thank you
Excellent video, thank you.
Really good
I confused when you said top and bottom. Which is the top and which is the bottom?
I believe top and bottom are relative to the surface you are rigging the ropes on.
Thanks much, I think I'll put little arrows and numbers on each sheave :)
I started building a block and tackle system with 4 pulleys in each block. How would that differ?
I have the same question. Did you ever find the answer?
how would you reeve a double quad?
nice video, easy to follow
you are geneious
downside(abc)-upside(123) b3a1c2 & tie up :) thank you
You gives us the better part but you definitely needs a camera person
It’s a free tutorial video, learn from it and be grateful, perhaps offer a little thanks.
hot
Becket was out of frame......
Yes it sucks
Muito bom
ok👌
This video stinks because the explanations are not clear and the camera cuts off the knot tying.
Informative, but what a sloppy job.
Show your ability to do a neat job!
@@denniscurless904 Sure Denny. I’ll get right on that. 🙄
