I will never get tired of watching this. After being at Game 7 in 1985 I can say that this was my proudest moment as a Royals fan. Kudos to Salvy for the MVP. GO ROYALS!!!!!!
+jeffcon123 that's what i did in game 4...i dozed off & woke up to hear that one of the Royals were headed home & i said WELL I'M AWAKE! During this game however I kinda doubted the Royals...but then we got a run & then hos scored & i was like WE'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we won I cried on the floor...Good luck to the mets next year though!
***** I had a headache & I was tired from a long work day...Due to the migrane, i was more exhausted. So I tried to get rid of it by sleeping so that's how I dozed off :)
its incredible how much they believe and how much they support eachother you wouldve thought they were the home team they were up on the bench cheering eachother on it was just fun to watch
I guess that mets fan that screamed " f u Gordon" really wants to do a World Series champion! What is he going to do? Lay down and take it kinda like the mets? Lol
Dodgers fan here but I must congratulate the KC Royals. Never saw such grit and determination to come back and win these games like they did. Nice to see them pick up the win after coming so close then losing game 7 last year to the Giants (ugh!). Great job KC!
+joesakic91 Right! It was a slap in the face, that the critics didn't even think the Royals would win the division this year. It will be interesting to see where they have the Royals finishing next season.
H.D. Armstrong It depends on what the Royals do in the offseason, but they're going to have most of their core players from those two World Series appearances back. It's not going to be easy to repeat as MLB World Champions of course.
joesakic91 I honestly think these guys are good enough, even minus Gordo amd Zobrist, to make another run next year. They are built for postseason play. If they get there, they'll give everyone fits.
+Brandon Peters honestly its epitomizes the difference between most royals fans and most mets fans. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of respectful Mets fans as well, but if you were to measure the amount of shit talking to the opposing team between the two fan bases, we all know who would win that one lol.
+Brandon Peters This is why I routed for the ROYALS.. Fuckk all of NYC No sorry... Fuck the whole shitty state! New Yawkers are pussy shit talking disrespectful a-holes. I would rather live in Tijuana than manhatten. Foods better too.
Congrats to The Royals!!! Im a Yankee fan and was going with the Mets because I live here in NYC but Im a fan of the Royals AND The Cubs too. Real fans who deserve it.
+PapaJenkinz If it's any consolation I was always jealous that you had 1 more title than us until now. lol If you guys ever make it back and face anyone other than the Royals I will be pulling for ya. I enjoyed watching the old Carter Jays in the early 90's.
I hope I would be fortunate enough to witness a Pirates/Mariners world series in the near future. Both teams always seem to fall short of going all the way.
He wasn't being compatible he was being selfish and being insubordination to his pitching coach and manager.. Here was their conversation, as Collins recounted it. Harvey: "I want this game. I want it bad. You've got to leave me in." We don't spell TEAM with an I Collins: "Matt, you've got us exactly where we wanted [you to get us]." Harvey: "I want this game in the worst way." We don't spell TEAM with an I Collins: "Go get 'em out."
+innertubez if Harvey with i dislike wasn't being selfish and being insubordination to his pitching coach and manager..maybe the mets could have won that game. which I am glad they lost
+The Truth I might have lifted Harvey too, in the manager's position. But the way the series was going it was probably a toss-up anyway. Not sure if Familia could have closed the door that night.
It's going to be interesting to see if Jeurys Familia bounces back after blowing three saves in the 2015 World Series. I've seen a lot of closers' careers altered forever after blowing saves like this in the World Series: Mark Wohlers after giving up the three-run bomb to Jim Leyritz in the 1996 World Series, Byung-Hung Kim in the 2001 World Series.
+joesakic91 I think the difference is that many of those "blown" saves from Familia weren't really on him, but shaky defense. Game 1 is the only one I think he really let get away. Other than that, he had to deal with some tough circumstances and things that really went against him.
reasons why the mets lost: *cespedes kicks the ball in the outfield *murphy's defense is as good as a rookie little league player *d'arnaud cant throw anybody out *the royals are just to damn good
+Maurizio Spagna I used Google Translate for this and it looks like it may be very beautiful. But the Translate doesn't do it justice. Can someone who speaks Italian/English please translate this well?
I just don't know what happened to the Mets? Kansas City just wanted it more. They played aggressive, they played hard, and that first game could've went either way. Mets should have put them away in that 9th inning. They always tank in putting away teams late in the game.
+markymarc b I really think the Mets would have had a chance if Harvey hadn't had a temper tantrum in the dugout when he learned he was being pulled in favor of the closer. Harvey should have been pulled without question when he walked the leadoff man. They would probably have lost it anyway, but at least they would have won another at home game and brought it back to KC. GO ROYALS!!!!!!!!
It was only fitting that Hochevar got the win in this game. A first round pick of the Royals several years ago and another guy that hasn't had sustained success due to injuries and overall inconsistency, he's stuck it out and finally appears to have found his role with the Royals as this year and in 2013 he became a very useful weapon out of the bullpen, especially in the playoffs. If only Billy Butler was still around the Royals would have done it primarily through players that came up in their system - Gordon (twice as a 3B and LF), Hosmer, Moustakas, Salvy, Dyson, Ventura, Herrera, Christian motherfucking Colon, and so on - however Kendrys Morales, IMO, was a better weapon for the Royals this season, especially since he's a switch hitter. Throw in the acquisitions of Ben Zobrist - best trade in baseball this season, Blue Jays fans argue all you want - and Cueto, who pitched brilliantly in game 5 of the ALDS and game 2 of the WS (game 3 of the ALCS not so much) and you have a team that was not going to lose this season after the way last year ended. They were motivated and while they may not be the flashiest or best team when it comes to sheer talent - that one I will probably give to you Blue Jays' fans - they were the best TEAM, much like the San Antonio Spurs when they won in 2014 having lost the year prior the way they did. They did have a few breaks go their way, but those that win championships in almost every sport do. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, however with these Royals we got good, lucky, and motivated all in one team. As someone that's followed the Royals for years and had grown accustomed to October baseball not happening in KC, the past few years - including 2013 when this run began with the Royals finally having a winning season after a decade straight of losing - it has been a real pleasure to support them. My dad used to tell me about the Royals and their greatness in the 80s and it seemed like a funny thought, however getting to experience it in my lifetime is one of the best sports memories I have had and probably ever will have.
Okay, whoever said fuck you gordon had NO right to...come on people be better sports...he's a four time gold glove winner FOR A REASON! Don't hate him just because he's a good player! What if your were at kauffman & we said the same thing about cespadis (can't spell sorry -.-)? We'd look at you with disbelief & disgust because that's not only bad sportsmanship but that just plain disresprecful. I get yo're mad that we were playing good (finally!) but still...with that said, I am so proud of my boys in blue. The parade is gonna be amazing!
+Amber Tilton (amyrockstar102) hahahaha...the best compliment in baseball, at least New York fans to the visiting team players, is an FU. Some of the friendliest people in the world live in New York, but they are a bit in your face to say the least. GO ROYALS!!!!!
innertubez no...the reason why he did that is cause Syndegard threw the ball at Escobar's head. Syndegard was trying to "send a message" and everyone of the Royals were pissed. Don't even try to justify throwing the ball at someone's head because what if it had hit Esci? He could've been severely hurt by the ball. If you think that is okay, then you need to find another sport.
+Amber Tilton (amyrockstar102) Nice try but fail. KC fans sound like they want Syndergaard arrested for attempted murder when all he did was throw a little chin music to back Escobar off the plate. Yet Moustakas acts like a tool and it gets praised as "grit." If you want to see real hurt, take a look at Mets SS Ruben Tejada getting his leg broken by a tackle. BTW I have been a Mets fan for going on 40 years, so I don't need your advice on what sport to follow!
+innertubez well, with it all said and done, the mets aren't the world series champs now are they? ;) I see how that "statement" worked out for them ;) Next time just play fair & don't be butthurt because our team has good batters & infield/outfield, kay? Thanks. Good luck next year though.
(Part 2 is about baseball ft. KC Royals)I just finished making my first documentary! (It's 2 parts) If you don't mind, go check it out on my channel and let me know what you think! Thanks

The Jays probably win Game 6 with them (Royals score one less, Jays score at least one in the ninth), and with incredible momentum are the favourites for game 7. Can you honestly name calls that went the Jays way besides that one ball call on Bautista that was close and didn't matter because they won 7-1? Any video of any? Jays are gonna win next year
+RageGamerHD What if it was the Giants vs Jays
No they aren't
Go Giants
Your sentence made no sense
Good luck Jays!
I guess that mets fan that screamed " f u Gordon" really wants to do a World Series champion! What is he going to do? Lay down and take it kinda like the mets? Lol

The Kansas City Royals proved that their 2014 World Series run was no fluke with a MLB World Title in 2015.
+joesakic91 Very true. It's pretty rare to win it all back to back, unless you're the Yankees...
Austin Kitch It's also not easy to win two titles in a decade. The Royals do have a shot, but they must capitalize.
joesakic91 I honestly think these guys are good enough, even minus Gordo amd Zobrist, to make another run next year. They are built for postseason play. If they get there, they'll give everyone fits.
Royals aren't just good; they're the best team in baseball.
w4t3rw4g0n not anymore go Indians
Haha. We're not too far behind! :D
I Live in KC
LETS GO ROYALS
nice
I love that the only* words in the whole video are some fan's "F-U Gordon!" at 11:59
+Brandon Peters honestly its epitomizes the difference between most royals fans and most mets fans. +Brandon Peters Gordon's "F-U" to those fans actually came in Game 1 in the 9th inning. :)
+Charlie j You get that many people crammed into a stadium in the most aggressive city on the planet, the f-bombs are gonna be dropped.
+Sean V Keyboard warrior extraordinaire.
11:55 That moment Alex Gordon gets a "fuck you" for stealing a hit.
One for the ages. Baseball at its best!
Better luck next year Cespedes....
true.
Butera met Davis at 60 feet 6 inches.
Congrats to The Royals!!! Im a Yankee fan and was going with the Mets because I live here in NYC but Im a fan of the Royals AND The Cubs too. Real fans who deserve it.

+eko6tem Thank you, Now we have to focus on France. #PrayForFrance
thanks guys its a tragedy here
+eko6tem Thanks, did you know KC is the Paris of the Plains? :)
Great to finally see a world series without any PED teams in it.
I hate to admit it, but damn the royals are good.
+PapaJenkinz They have played 2 World Series within 2 years. Royals MUST be good!
+PapaJenkinz If it's any consolation I was always jealous that you had 1 more title than us until now. lol If you guys ever make it back and face anyone other than the Royals I will be pulling for ya. I enjoyed watching the old Carter Jays in the early 90's.
+PapaJenkinz The Astros were the ones that made the Royals a hard time lol
Andres Yeah, could you imagine what would have happened if the Astros won game 4?
Best. Team. Ever. I think that's what you meant.
I hope I would be fortunate enough to witness a Pirates/Mariners world series in the near future. Both teams always seem to fall short of going all the way.
Way betta without all dat jibba-jabba.
+robarin Exactamento!
+robarin thumbs up for saying Jibba Jabba.
BRUH LOL
With such a roller coaster season it's a shame we have to sit around next year and wait for the Giants to win, after all it is an even year
Omar Alaniz
Oh game the offseason...
Hey Hosmer, can you hit it off the Wheat Thins display? @10:49
And then score the tying run @11:20.
Thanks!
Matt Harvey was a Beast...until he wasn't
best part about this video: no Joe Buck
🤣😂🤣
He wasn't being compatible he was being selfish and being insubordination to his pitching coach and manager..
Here was their conversation, as Collins recounted it.
Harvey: "I want this game. I want it bad. You've got to leave me in."
We don't spell TEAM with an I
Collins: "Matt, you've got us exactly where we wanted [you to get us]."
Harvey: "I want this game in the worst way."
We don't spell TEAM with an I
Collins: "Go get 'em out."
Selfish for wanting to win it when he was cruising, go figure. You're just suffering from 20/20 hindsight.
+innertubez Yankees have won 5 world series in the past 19 years and the Mets lose to them in 2000 world series stop hated
+The Truth Not hating, just saying it's easy to say take Harvey out after the fact. He had every right to try to finish that game.
Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That beautifully done! Great fucking job. You must be a pro editor...? dreamy surreal like.

It's going to be interesting to see if Jeurys Familia bounces back after blowing three saves in the 2015 World Series.

Even though we lost, we made it pretty far! Watch out for next year... 😉
No I love him just go there that's what a fan says cuz royals are the best
thanks go Royals the Midwest train.
It's called a new york attitude most new yorkers have this, but yankees fans are worst trust me.
reasons why the mets lost:
*cespedes kicks the ball in the outfield
*murphy's defense is as good as a rookie little league player
*d'arnaud cant throw anybody out
*the royals are just to damn good
Forgot Wainwright and Molina. Mets fans never forget them for some reason
I wanted the mets to win
Finally...

+Rylan Dawe LOL, your tears are delicious
+Lou McGopher yep, Moustakas' phantom home run and Revere's outside strike just didn't happen.
THE FIX WAS ON.
Rylan Dawe The Homer was the same homer that's happened multiple times at the K. Even though the announcers didn't agree with it, it's well established that the railing doesn't matter.
And it's not like the series hinged on either of those plays. Royals won fair and square, 4-2. Jays got plenty of calls their way as well.
