A lot of people in the market for a flagship saloon don’t want the overload of screens as in the S class and Audi A8. I’d buy this just for the manual a/c controls.
I agree. I love dash boards with direct buttons instead of touching too many menus just for a function to work.

Bemmers don’t need any more upgrades. Ideal as is.
The older gen S-Class had a fantastic interior. The new one has the Tesla style screen which doesn't look classy and I doubt works as well in practise as you have to take your eyes off the road to look at it.
I'm glad the BMW has kept some actual buttons and dials with the info screen high up. Top design BMW.

I'm sure one big screen is cheaper to produce than a slightly smaller screen and many buttons and dials. Also I don't think BMW is short for money.

Don’t ask that question. 7 series is a great car but will never be luxurious than S Class. Interior of 7 Series has been never better looking than S Class .
This car is unbelievable ! But Mercedes’ to me looks more modern and luxurious. This center screen in the 7 series needs to be revamped

The 7 series 2022 needs updated chassis and handling because its now less than its peers and its smaller brother. No doubt BMW also updates the chassis besides the externals and interior

With a car as big and powerful as this, a car that focus's on effortless driving experience why would you have or want paddle shift? no no no just put you right foot down sit back and watch the bonnet rise up and rear view disappear, I drove a 750i v12 back in 2003 £102,000 on the road price worth nothing now but will never forget that v12 power!

Bro don't compare a BMW 7 series with Mercedes S class. BMW 7 series is a good nice luxury car but not more than a S class and the fact they copied Mercedes display screen for their 2023 7 series model. I know all the Mercedes hater will talk shit to me but from inside they like Mercedes. I love BMW I would have BMW and Mercedes both for luxury Merc is best.
I would like BMW to stop including ashtrays. I use the ashtray in my BMW for storing loose change. Ashtrays r a waste of $ and they encourage smoking in the car....disgusting.
Thankfully BMW hasn't yet succumbed to those idiot "dont' look at the road look at me" computer consoles. I'll buy BMW all day as long as they don't put one of those things in.

I think the S class relies too much on today’s technology and will thus be obsolete and look like a fossil in the future. The 7 series is a perfect mix of both tech and traditional luxury which will age much better.

BMW is do far behind Mercedes and Lexus with their dash and computer tech they still using a tablet for the screen everyone has gone away from tablets to full dash screen across the dashboard. Still using cigarettes trays ppl are going away from smoking in cars. Seat controls on bottom side of seats you can see which button is which if you need to adjust while driving or new to BMW.
