Amen! Prayer is the most powerful weapon in the Christian arsenal! It is all God's power. We have absolutely no power on our own, zero, it it by the grace of God through His Holy Spirit, and the crucifixion, death, burial, and triumphant glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, who allows us to partake in this power to come boldly to the very throne of Almighty God, and cry out to Him boldly with our petitions, in repentance and in the faith that He has given us, and expect to recieve an answer, as we pray His will!

Buy a gun to protect yourself. Go for classes and get your concealed carry permit. I lived in fear in NJ and wished to God for a weapon for protection. You will feel empowered and safe. That is one of the reasons I moved to FL 34431. It's nice to think God will protect us but I know assault and rape victims that wished they had a gun at the time. We cannot wait for divine intervention when there is a knife to our throat or when our loved ones get attacked. I recommend a .22 or .380 caliber. A 9mm was to powerful for me. Hang in there and stay SAFE!
