I love this show! In some preaching/teaching/Prophetic events you see the "production" scripting/setting/interviewing type formulas. In this show there is an authenticity and simplicity that is so moving. The moments when they realize God is real and cares about them is so beautiful to behold!
Wow I just love, love this new show When Heaven Hears! I cried tears of joy during while Cindy spoke in these interviews. I hope someday to get to meet Cindy before I leave this earth. ❤
There’s truly a purpose for Father allowing Cindy to do this show. I’m delighted to see HIM glorified through his servant. Due to this transition I’m in, any day now I’m expecting Father to meet me in Florida to confirm & direct my steps. Yes. Very long overdue and Great, to Bring Living Water to those who Thirst. I would just Caution 1) To Always Give God His Place It is from His Spirit. It is not a “Personal” gift. And 2 “cold read” eludes to “readings” which are not Holy. We Know you Cindy and we Love you. We know you live for The Lord. You want nothing more than for people to come to the Saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I just didn’t set well with those 2 points. I saw you for the 1st time in Colorado Springs at a conference with Dutch Sheets, and Jonathan Conn. I was hoping to have a moment with you but it didnt happen. Maybe someday. Sadly there is an element of this that doesn't line up with the word of God. This is what psychics do, and it's divination. God speaks to us by the leading of the Holy Spirit and his holy scriptures. What should be the main focus is teaching believers how to hear from God, using the word of God. The gift of prophecy, specifically word of knowledge should be used for building up the people of God, and when used for unbelievers to point them to the cross and Jesus. Just my humble opinion.

Spiritual gifts do exist that God gives His people, but using phrasing like “these special powers she has” and “can a normal human being have access to information from beyond” sounds very new age and like divination. Also what is the true purpose of this video? Shouldn’t all giftings point back to Jesus? Not to a human being? Apart from Him we can do nothing. I hope that this series leaves no room for confusion and that it is verified by many other sources. How else do you expect her to explain how a person who hears from our Lord at her level, how to articulate what is happening and how that works for her???

People outside our faith use words like power and energy to describe something other than the trinity which is why it shouldn’t be used to describe the giftings of the Holy Spirit. It could be easily explained by pointing back to scripture and not to herself. She is a prophet, yes, but the giftings aren’t used to point to yourself as “special”. Everyone has access to the gifts if they ask for it. God gives some people one gift over another but everyone has access through Holy Spirit. Specifically calling out the phrase “cold readings” as not biblical. That should be a red flag because people in witchcraft and psychics use these techniques. As Christians we shouldn’t be mimicking practices that were denounced by God as sinful and unholy. Everything we do should be a reflection of Christ. That’s why the word choice matters.

God loves you and speaks to everyone in many different ways. Primary way is through His word, but the closer you pursue Him the more you’ll find Him. Jeremiah 29:11-14 talks about it. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. Edit: I also agree with you that this feels too psychic like which is not from God. I hope this video doesn’t bring confusion to the body of Christ. God is listening and does like you though!
It takes a calm heart to know when God is speaking. in dreams, in just knowing something, in like not to go into a building. Or you buy a gift out of the blue for a friend that's God touching your heart. It doesn't have to be a word or a vision on your first touch from The Lord.
God speaks to all his children. But not in the way this documentary portrays, this is what psychics do. Read the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to open up your spiritual eyes so you can see, and your spiritual ears so that you can hear him and pray for a heart that is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He speaks to us uniquely no one is ever the same. In his word, in songs, in nature, in dreams/visions. In the stillness of our hearts. Just seek God because you love him and desire more of him, and you will hear him speak. ❤❤
