- Hey FOA. I am excited to share with you guys my new minivan setup. I have been really enjoying it so
far. It feels roomy, cozy, homey and functional. I also share my experience with Vanpackers. I go over some of the things that I really like about the new setup. And is it worth $4,700.

You can have a wood shop do a cut-out to fit over your sink when it's pulled out and use that surface for your double burner cooktop. You can go to a hardware store and ask if they have something that can be used to secure the plug on your fridge. If the installer wasn't in Canada, I would suggest you take it back and have them fix the plug issue and see if they have a solution for the double burner.
Your van upgrades look great I’m glad you like everything. I think you have a few options for your stove dilemma. You can add leafs of wood on the current pull out using ‘butler tray hinges’ on each side that can fold out when pulled out. Another option would be to lift the fridge section and add a longer pull out the width of the fridge section above the current stove area and under the fridge.
💡@13:38 A quick suggestion: USE THE PROPANE stove a couple of times just to make sure it’s working properly, so if there’s any problems you can get it handled now because if you wait and if there are issues….they probably won’t take care of it / replace it because you didn’t let them know within a reasonable amount of time. Been-there-done-that with a product. 😩

Anthony you can put a slide shelf where your 2-burner stove is and set the stove on top of the shelf where all you would have to do is slide it in and out like you have for your convection stove. when I saw you take out your 2 burner stove I realized you can do the same like the other stove. I hope this might help with your decision!! It is a wonderful layout. so glad for you.

Anthony, you could work with/hire a carpenter who can come up with a system to elongate the sliding burner compartment. Tell them your issue and they will sketch out some designs

That is awesome Anthony. I think you picked a good build. You know they have those collapsible tables you could break out when you’re wanting to use larger stove. Those tables fold up super small.
Yes a folding table can be connected to the other boxes to make L shaped prep space. Anthony can make it perfect for his needs.
It looks like so much more room and very organized. I love the new look. It will take some getting use to downsizing when you already have a limited space but sometimes it’s worth it to have the extra room to sit up and have a proper table🥳💖

Yes, I am LOVING this build out! I'm wondering on the seats, can you just clean it with a wet cloth? That's definitely a plus if you can easily clean. Also, I like all the storage and it looks really solidly built. Hope you totally enjoy this configuration for many years to come Anthony!
hi Anthony n ur new set up looks great. U can add more pantry goodies by building up in the back. u can have a removable basket on top of ur fridge for needed items. also adding a net to the back ceiling roof area can hold kitchen items too. enjoy. Roxanne

I love the kit!! I love the outdoor kitchen. Set up you canopy right off the back & you have have nice out door space. Good purchase!!!

After time they will shrink so 4inch was a good choice. I’d also recommend going to ikea and getting mattress topper. Will solve the crack issue but help keep the cushions healthy as you sweat in your sleep etc. plus ikea has a lot of good hanging holders that will really help with your small space ❤❤ happy pride 🏳️🌈

Anthony, I worked in an upholstery shop for 20 years that my family owned. In the long run, You were wise to get the 4 inch foam. Let us know two years from now how you feel about the 4 inch compared to the 3". You can get another basket/container TOTE to put on top of the fridge for extra dry goods food and dishes and cookware. When are you going to show us how the bed is set up, and what storage you have under the bed/bench? Where are you going to put your dirty laundry? Can you slide a hamper under the one side of the table? It could also be storage for towels, sheets, blankets. Those canvas ones with the wood frame might work.

@@FOASQUAD For the rough edges on the back of your legs, you could put one of those decorative duck tapes, just trim it down with a razor after you wrap it on.
I would get a long wooden cutting board and place it on top to add the 2 burner stove. Also doubles as a cutting board. 👍🏽
I’m sure VanPackers would smooth those areas for you if you contacted them and willing to travel back. I love the new set up!!

For your cooker, you can use some door hinges and add a flip up table, and a simple stand or brace for support.
I love your kit but I think if you email them, maybe they got a fold out extension you can put on your cooking surface to make it longer

Hello Anthony... I absolutely love your new build!!!!! The colors are beautiful,the wood and the green cushions look great together. The kitchen looks very functional and everything is right there when you're cooking back there. I love love love it! AWESOME!!!!!❤
For the kitchen stove.. I think you can purchase another piece of wood in the similar dimensions and connect using a hinge so that that you can pull it out and flip the extended/added part out. Looks like they is enough height to add another panel & still store the cook top that you purchased from them. You was just have to store you 2 burner somewhere else. But I think it’s an easy fix
Heck you can even keep it how it is & just use a small table to set up off the back of the van under your canopy. Possibilities are endless!! Good job!!! So excited so see it in use on camp good 😊

It's extremely Nice. You can use a piano hinge add a piece of wood measured to the size of the top of the shelf that when attached with the hinge will fold out to extend and fold over the top of the other side of the shelf to put away. You can then use the two burner.

You can alwaysvuser your two burning stove when you're tent camping. Maybe you can get the tent that connects with the back of your van and have a vestibule for cooking and another section for relaxing and sleeping 😊

Really nice set up, Anthony. I would put the larger camp stove on top of the sink drawer when cooking, you can put it back under when done and use your sink space.

You may need a folding table for your 2 burner stove. I like the setup and you giving pros & cons. Enjoy! 👍🏼

Happy 4 ya Anthony! Taking out the middle console is very easy, storing it is the challenge because it's one whole piece. That was the first thing I did in mine.... It's a game changer. Congrats on the setup!

On the pull out where your stove is you can add a piece of it would with a piano inch or some type of inch that can be folded back over the same size as the slide out when it's folded out you have 2 legs on the bottom that are removable that can keep it stable this way you will be able to put your 2 burners stove on That set up The legs can also be removable so it can be tucked away when you're done cooking

I like the old setup
Wowzers, this is a beautiful very streamlined setup, it reminds me of the living space in my dads travel trailer; you can get a storage container or maybe a few shoe boxes to sit on top of your fridge for more non perishables; also you can get a piece of wood to not damage your sink and place your 2 burner on the sink platform (the wood maybe able to slide under or on side of seat depending on how your bed/sofa is setup; that was very hospitable of the company to welcome you like that; it was a great investment and an enhancement to your home; sleeping in comfort is a beautiful thing; thanks for sharing and safe travels ❤🤎🧡💜🖤🤍💛💚💙

Great video,if you buy the cheap foam pool noodles,if you slice them,they can soften the edges.Also their are usb 20000,and 40000, amph combination 8 inch oscilasying portable fans with built-in lamp,cost about 45 bucks but are excellent to have,buy 2 and charge one ,and switch out,when empty good luck
