Weak or bad capacitors can cause all sorts of weird issues too! I myself have a Sony MHC-EC55 that has a failing CD player, and I assume it's the power delivery section of the CD player that's going bad. It'll start out playing fine and then progressively skip more and more until it can't even spin the CD anymore.
But how? I literally have had 2 mhc-ec55 units i have an ec77 unit there all the same unit all same mechanism and never have failed thats really weird 😂 must be luck guys idk
mathew A.c.d.e Ive also got the MHC-EC55 and that still works... however that may be due to the fact that ive hardly ever used it as I had, and still have the Panasonic SA-AK47, and the Philips FWC550. So both those beat the Sony in sound quality, so I always used those. But sometimes as electronics age, some components will fail faster than others.
Literally just bought one of these at goodwill a few hours ago 😂
Great stereo for listening to all my music
Awesome! how much did they sell it for? Also did it come complete with speakers?
@@christronicsdereksrandomness36 payed $18 I think after my student discount and it did not come with speakers sadly but luckily I already have some
@@lolyourahoot Nice!

Whatt that's weird cause that type of model never has cd issues
Hmm... Alright. Sometimes it'll play fine... Like it did on this vid. But the one before it messed up playing the same CD.
My mhc-ec55 is basically done for unfortunately.
