Hey.. I made one plastic pot ni solidworks I want to check how many load is good for my pot in inside and pot shape remain as before I want to check how many load I give in it so it will break ... Can u please guide me.. I'm waiting for your positive response... THANK you
Is the location and magnitude of stress the sole determinant of fatigue failure? Isn't this fatigue analysis simply applying a scaling filter to the stress heat map?
Good video but . I hope to know at 17:21 the number of cycles is approx. 10,000,0000 larger than 7000000 for the second part which indicating failure will be occurred especially using 64 % from the default cycle.
Hiii I saw yr video it's really useful bt I hve a question what's meaning of cycle(N) like u put 100000000000 and or but what it's indicate day, year, hours, second,......
+Alex Fry - In this case we are actually setting up a Static study that calculates the Max stress everywhere. Then in the Fatigue study we set the number of cycles and Loading ratio. In this case I did a zero based load which gives me a loading ratio of 0. The loading ratio is defined as the Min Stress/Max Stress. So the Static study calculates the Max stress at every node and with a load ratio of 0 the software calculates the Min stress as 0. From this the software also determines the Mean stress from the equation Max+Min/2. So the Mean stress calculated from this is actually Max/2 which is calculated at every node. Thanks, Eric
Hi, great video. I would like to know why I get a lot deformation in my part when aply force, knowing that it does not happen in real life? I fit my material Aisi 4340 steel.
go to edit definition of stress/displacemtn or whatever study result and choose the "true" tick box instead of automatic which is pre-ticked. u will get the right deformation
Very informative video on how to set up the simulation to compare different designs. It is a good way of testing multiple designs to see which is most likely to last longer. However the numbers are only relevant for comparison testing and of no use to real life. But more important,, Why is the wrong side pedal being used... It's bugging the hell out of me
how to sync two circle example:- one circle dia75mm and secound circle dia1000mm dia1000mm (1000mm-100mm=900mm) so change dia 75mm change (75mm+100=175mm) mins i one circle dia minuse so secound dia pluse is value how create
i have a question. for example that failure due to fatigue is likely to occur after approximately 16,510 cycles. but i don't know 16,510 cycles approximate how many hours or days?. thanks alot
and can u please share the SN curve data for the aluminum 6061-T6 till 10000000 cycles i got a SN curve through this link www.osti.gov/scitech/servlets/purl/10157028/ but not sure about its correctness.

Can I have the drawing file of the crank shaft? Thank you

can you please tell me difference in contact set and component contact in simulation.

thanks for the video. how can you define the max and min stress for the fatigue cycle. i noticed you only input the mean stress?

Ye that pedal hurts
how to sync two circle example:-
one circle dia75mm and secound circle dia1000mm
dia1000mm (1000mm-100mm=900mm) so change
dia 75mm change (75mm+100=175mm)
mins i one circle dia minuse so secound dia pluse is value
how create

if you know the frequency, you just need to divide cycles by the frequency to get time (s) and then finding out how many days, months etc
It depends on the operation of your part. The frequency or rotational speed and hours of work per day
how do you get the s-n curve of 6061???
by a special dark magic called "engineering data".
and can u please share the SN curve data for the aluminum 6061-T6 till 10000000 cycles i got a SN curve through this link www.osti.gov/scitech/servlets/purl/10157028/
but not sure about its correctness.
um ah um ah um ah um ah, ah, um um
