I'm going snaring for the first time tomorrow. My dad still prefers his crab cooked in a hot wok with garlic and black bean sauce. He's old school Cantonese. Great video
Thanks! Black bean crab is also delicious. My dad used to cook blue crab like that all the time growing up. Hope you have some success out there crabbing 👍
@@woodenworker9106 for this crab, I didn't use it. Didn't want to worry about domoic acid poisoning. It might've been fine though. I'll usually steam it and eat it with rice. Good stuff 😌

Thanks for posting your video. Nice job on the catch and cook! I may try out your recipe with my next dungies.
Thank you! Give it a try, it's my favorite way of cooking up crabs, shrimps or lobsters :)
@@truoutdoors what did you do with the crab butter?

New sub. Nice catch! I love Dungeness crab no matter how they are cooked, but stir fry is the best.
Thank you! Ya, dungeness crabs are so tasty that any recipe will be delicious.
Last pull saved the day. Tasty looking dish you made there
Thank you! It definitely did lol I'm glad I didn't skunk.
Looks like you visited Gus’ Tackle for your snare and bait!
Yes, they have good snares. I like the ones where the hoops stand up.
Nice catch!
Thank you!
Probably harder to catch like that vs setting net traps from boat ..lol
Ya it is but at least you can get to crabbing with less equipment
@Tru Outdoors still looks fun... id try it. Sadly nothing in the Midwest
