This is a TOP TIER install. I crochet the boho kinky jr in the front and sew in a kinky curly human hair half wig for the rest. It's quick, natural and low maintenance. At 51, I don't have the patience I had in my 30's and 40's. I love how innovative and intentional you were with the textures, density and how the hair falls. I want to learn how to crochet the silkier textures for a natural look.😊

Thanks for subbinggggg🫶🏾 There was a French bulk by Model Model that looks just like it but I haven’t been able to find that either. The texture is that of a braid out, so you technically could use braiding hair and create the texture yourself with the boiling water method. Just don’t braid all the way to the ends bc you’ll want the ends to remain straight. Let me know if you try it!♥️🔌
To help reduce the density I learned that instead of thinning the hair with scissors I pull crochet hair from the previous row and crochet it creating a "bridge" it does a great job of hiding some of the parts and it adds beautiful layers...I never have to thin or cut it when I use that method. Hope it helps ❤

Your knotting process looks very intricate. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone “interconnecting the clusters” like that. Or at least that’s how it looks to me. Does it provide better security?

I used the zury bohemian hair v89150 instead.It came out really pretty bc I folded the hair to make it longer. I hope that make since.

I’m finding it at my local beauty supply stores. It sometimes depends on where you’re located. There’s a Model Model French super that would also work but I haven’t seen that in a while either. If you’re crafty you could create it yourself by braiding some straight hair and dipping in hot water ♥️🔌

Replying as I’m wearing my Janet Jackson shirt!😂😂😂 and yes girl it’s perfect for vacation. I have full out dived into the ocean in crochet hair with no problems. I would recommend twisting or braiding it down beforehand if you’re not good at maintenance/reviving or recurling the hair♥️🔌
