Agree, Eddie has one good win in the ufc due to a wild swing against an overconfident champ. He reminds me a lot of Bisping, a well-rouned fighter but not great at anything.
that grappling demonstrated in this open workout was horrendous. i know they were just rolling at like 25 percent or less but still what the fuck. And call Eddie a bum all you want the guy is a fucking warrior and humble as they come. Hes also the LW world champion, yeah sounds like a total bum to me. Conor is alot to deal with, but everyone is sleeping on Eddie. And of Conor wins, he better fight Aldo again to prove that wasnt a fluke. Hes not the GOAT, thats insane to say. If He were fighting Khabib, Tony Ferguson, even Michael Johnson, he wouldnt stand a chance. He got really lucky to be fighting for this belt right now, and i think its because Eddie is stylistically his easiest matchup. but eddie wanted this fight bad also. i beloeve UFC shouldve forced an Aldo rematch after the Nate loss anyways. people always forget that f****** Matt Serra came out and destroyed Georges St Pierre. and they gave him the rematch because obviously Georges just got caught, and what happened he destroyed him and went on defending his belt business as usual, goes down as best welterweight ever... Aldo has what 7 plus title defenses and gets caught once and that's the end of it hes the undisputed king of 145. Conor can make that claim after a rematch. and before you get into GOAT of the LW division hes gonna have to win that belt and beat about 5 or 6 other straight killers to even start talking about that. now don't get me wrong I love Connor inside the ring his grappling is horrible but his striking is so crisp and he has the touch of death so I feel like he has a good shot at pretty much anyone 145 to 155 I just don't think he's proven it yet for all the hype he has and all the special treatment the UFC gives him and all the fans that eat up his new money gimmick..

McGregors striking coach is pretty incredible, when the are light sparring at the end he does an amazing job at mimicking Alvarez's style, throwing in darting right hands and using angles.

You can see he's working in pressing forward then countering. And he's incorporated slightly small movement based stuff that I see Cruz and Dillashaw do, but not sure if he's been doing that stuff already.

So this just popped up randomly (thanks youtube). But I find myself wondering if I'm the only one thinking that his right leg looks much bigger than his left (the one he broke last year). That leads me to wondering if he's really had issues with his left leg a lot longer than just anyone has lead on.

Having watched both fighters open workout, I fear for Eddie and i actually want him to win but Conor's movement is on another level and his speed is gonna be too much for Eddie! Unless Eddie can catch/rock Conor within the opening round and give Conor something to think about , otherwise i feel Conor will Dominate and ko Eddie in round 1 or 2
