Wow, my church here in Australia is also called Hope Reformed Baptist Church. Praise God. I've heard the statement you mentioned but the otherway around - All Calvinists are Reformed, but not all Reformed are Calvinists. An example is Lutheran Churches are Reformed since they were basically the first Protestant Church to leave the Roman church in the Reformation, but they are not Calvinists. Anglican (Church of England/Episcopal Church) are considered Reformed as well but are not Calvinists either. The only Reformed Calvinistic churches I'm aware of are Presbyterian, Dutch Reformed, & Reformed Baptists.
He certainly fulfills it, and is our ultimate rest, but he is also our righteousness so do we jettison all the law? Not keeping the sabbath in the OC was punishable by death- my question would be: did God change His mind?

There is not as much information on it anymore but it was the unanimous view from the Apostles to the time of Augustine when he popularized Amil. There are still some big names out there today that hold to it. Good luck finding a Church that holds to it though, luckily my elder does as do I.
What about when parts of this contradict other parts? For example in the Nicene-Constantinopolitan creed, "We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church" and "One Baptism for the Remission of Sins", and ordinary Baptist teaching that Baptism is not for the remission of sins?

In 1415 The Catholic Church declared him a heretic and in 1428 his corps was exhumed, burned and ashes thrown in the River Swift. (Seems They really did not like him)

Wycliffe wasn't burned to death; he died of a heart attack and they burned his bones later after the Council of Constance around the same time Jan Hus was martyred. I think he might have been referring to WIlliam Tyndale though, who was strangled and burned for the charge of heresy after labouring to produce his English translation and distribute it via the printing press. Most historians agree this was motivated by his translation work as much as his theology.

Complementarianism isn’t necessarily a distinctive. You can be 1000% a confessional Baptist and be patriarchal (not iron fist patriarchy obviously). I would even argue that the confession (and scripture) leans more toward patriarchy than complimentarianism. Complimentarianism is about as new of a theological concept as dispensationalism.

But where do you see any of the solas in the scriptures? rather don’t you see scripture that explicitly teaches the exact opposite? All Reformed people need to read Romans 11 substituting "The Church" for the word "Israel" and for the pronouns that refer back to Israel in Chapter 11. Read it out loud and see if you are making any sense. I have been challenging Reformed/Calvinists to do this for two months and have no takers so far.

Note how John Calvin added thousands of pages to the bible, anti chrisr centered and there is no "church" in this theology, merely denominations. Thus channel would be in violation of the 3rd commandment if he dared speak for God. Of course they shall all fall to the counter arguements of judaism 😊

Spirit baptism is for the remission of sins, and our water baptism points to that.
