Read the acknowledgments of mad honey(after the book is over!!) the author dreamt that she wrote a book with Jodi picoult so she tweeted her and Jodi was like tell me more and that’s how mad honey came to be!!!
Jodi picoult is one of my favorite authors because she always had a really good twist! I highly highly recommend the storyteller by her! It’s one of my favorite books ever! And also on the pod you mentioned you didn’t know how two authors wrote a book together, but for mad honey each author was in charge of one of the two perspectives, and they each wrote one chapter from the point of view they weren’t in charge of writing (hopefully I explained that well)

Jodi Picoult has great books and great twists. I highly recommend the Storyteller as well. One of my favorite books and since you liked the nightingale you would like it. I also recommend The Pact, Salem Falls, 19 minutes and I think it is Change of Heart but I think you would like her books especially the Storyteller. Mad Honey was so good I really liked it as well and found the bee keeping fascinating but lulled at times
Chili hack from my Latina/Texan grandmother: use ranch style beads instead of plain pinto/kidney beans! They come in a black can. You don’t have to drain them because they’re pre-seasoned and the flavor is great! I use 3 cans of those and 1 or 2 cans of drained no salt added black beans and do the final seasoning myself once I add in meat/etc

Brooke I recommend The pact by Jodi picoult, it’s very emotional but a great book to start! My sisters keeper the novel is also such a different experience than the movie. I’d suggest that one too!
What does your mom do (career)? Loved your dress & boots and the brown leggings. The chili looked good. I love making some in the crockpot and then having leftovers for days. Rotel tomatoes (mild) in the can and garlic can add good flavors. And yes to a NY tour of your fave places! 😊

Brooke, increase that spironolactone dose! NAD but I’m on 100 mg with the birth control and it has done wonders. You might be a little dizzy for a few days but stick it out and I bet you’ll adjust super quickly to it.

Brooke!! Your acne might be from the olives. That happened to me and I Love olives. It was breaking out my chin so badly. Maybe try cutting that out and see if it helps you. ❤❤❤
Also for your skin and breaking out…cut out all of that dairy. The cheese the sour cream. I know if you cut out dairy and the olives you will feel better and your skin will clear up!!
@@brookemiccio me too but it’s worth it! When I cheat and have dairy I get a breakout but I do sacrifice sometimes for dairy that’s worth it…Usually Italian restaurants. 😅

Color correction is key for me with covering acne. I use a green concealer base to counter act the red from the acne!
