I LOVE saving money on my electric bill! I found these, and I am so excited! I hate having to turn my outside lights on and off. Sometimes I forget the one at the front door and leave the ones at the garage on all the time because of the light switch location. Just leave the switch on and let the lights handle the work! Sengled Led Sensor Light Bulb's built-in high-quality Photocell sensor will detect the light intensity, then turn on the light at dusk and turn off the light at dawn automatically. The bulbs will not interfere with each other, even if the distance is only 6 inches. Saving you the trouble of manual control.

But...you have a dusk to dawn light sensor socket screwed into your fixture, into which you screwed in your new bulb, so you cannot directly test the bulb.

Not sure I understand. Once the bulb is inserted into the socket, you turn the light switch on and when it becomes dark enough, they turn on.
