I don't think the "boo's" were directed at the segway... I feel like it had to do with Conan's comment on Gina's ex boyfriend's self control. When he said that the guy had self control, he meant it in a general sense, but Gina, being the witty and awesome gal she is, made a joke out of it, which Conan didn't get... So when he didn't acknowledge her joke or beauty, and instead went directly to the next topic, the guy in the audience booed.
