I love the way the last runner ran right through the finish line.
Rich Republican do you expect him to stop immediately after the finish line
I thought i seen him on THE NEXT VIDEO he was running so fast through that line..
Giacomo Manini 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ Cause Every People logic is Slow-down arriving the finish line. Think outside the box Doug-bag.
@@giacomomanini9715 no but there's a stupid trend of runners slowing down right before the finish line. Watch Usain Bolt run, he even did it on his WR run. He could have had an even faster time and blew it.
They had that lineup perfectly balanced. That was expert coaching and athleticism
@@13kimosabi13 Wouldn’t say they sucked to run a 39 in highschool. They just have to get out harder before the handoff..
@@13kimosabi13 I agree the handoffs sucked, but maybe the coach is really good at developing fast athletes.
@@ClutchupJB they ran sub-40 because they had 4 blazing fast individuals, not because they had good handoffs. It's difficult to get out harder when your coach teaches you a technique that slows you down.
@@aaronfleming9426 FAST athletes aren't DEVELOPED => they're born ! Coaches can help them mature within a small window to be even better => but this COACH SUCKED at the coaching part => but it seems he's really good at recruiting and then getting out of the way of the TALENT ! A lot of Coaches can't even do that.
Bruh 2nd leg is top flight
sleeper08 sometimes they put the fastest runner at 2nd leg because it’s technically the longest run by a small margin
@@q12aw50 not true in the slightest. There is no one spot that all teams try and handoff at. It depends what the individual teams plan are
Excellent finish. This is the first time I've seen a sprinter run completely through the finish line. We're taught that early on in track, but I've seen top level sprinters fade, ever so slightly, right at the finish.
Because the human body can perform maximum exertion for 8 seconds tops. Every sprinter is fading the last few steps. 100% of the time.
@@Yourmomshousemyrules he's referring to finishing technique, where the mind seeing the finish causes you to fractionally slow as the line approaches, whereas if you focus further along the track you will run through the line
If they really did run 39, then they could've ran 38 if them handoffs were wortha lick..
38 and 39 is like a mile apart in short sprints. Better passes would have gotten them 39.9 or 39.8 high.
@@thehighground3212 Yea minimum half a second. First and second hand off looked like they were too scared to mess up and didn't accelerate until the baton was in their hand.
Last hand off was acceptable for the skill level and stakes (assuming this time of year is states).
@@seanwilson5516 you’re actually wrong lol if they already ran a 39 then they could’ve gotten to the 38s. If anything you just added time for them having good handoffs lol
@@beaushow8067 Agree. The last handoff, when you're the anchor looking back at a lead like that, you just want a secure pass. You know the race is in the bag if the baton doesn't hit the ground.
Damn. Are my eyes seeing correctly? That's crazy fast
You know what that means?!?! One of the legs ran 9 seconds or the handoff in between legs was incredibly fast
@@-waltt3467 you can just check the timestamp from when the video starts and when the runner crosses the line
The crazy thing is that they had bad hand offs and still ran under 40 seconds. Almost every leg run up on the next leg. If they get better extensions on their hand offs, they will really improve their overall time.
I timed the video it’s definitely 39 something! That’s a collegiate time they put up and probably one of the fastest if not the fastest high school time the world this year! They definitely deserve the hype on there names and school. Someone must have randomly past them this video.
😂 😂 definitely not by a long shot the fastest. Hey n Jamaica, that’s a 6th place finish
Bruce Lee read my comment again one of the fastest if not the fastest. I didn’t definitely say it was the fastest time I said “if” meaning that it could be in the runnings for the high school times this year I haven’t researched what the fastest time was I just know that’s a good time for high school just like the caption says
Yo Boy E well if you don’t have a clue about fast times just state a fast time in Texas or America at best. Don’t expand to the world cause it’s down the pecking order of times this year. The caption exaggerated as your comment
Fort Bend Marshall HS in the greater Houston area. They absolutely showed out at state. We've become used to this program running this well very consistently over the last 10-12 years. By far the best Boys HS T&F Program in TX. Taking nothing away from DeSoto, Strake Jesuit, The Woodlands, Dallas Carter, Duncanville, McKinney North, et al.
That exchange between 2&3 was a thing of beauty
I need to watch this video again...I could've sworn I saw small engines on those kids' backs!🤣 Damn they were fast!
Handoffs were terrible too, could be faster.
Stop it! The handoffs were not terrible. They may not have been perfect, but they were still pretty good. The timing of the outgoing runner was pretty much perfect on each handoff. At least they didn't look like the USA Olympic or World Championship team handoffs we've been watching for the past 10+ years.
2nd place better have gotten a PR will that 39 pulling them along. Or they have no nuts.
Damn! faster than a lot of college teams! Great job with the hand offs, those are critical!
Good job but time would have been faster if they had better handoff
2nd dude was going so fast he had to slow down before the changeover
WoW!, you guys are awesome!!!
They got the baton around, better than your average team USA squad.
Thurgood Marshall HS. Mo. City, Tx!!! Go Mighty Buffs!!!
4x1's are so underrated this is the most hype event in track and field
How fast I wish Sept 17 2020 would hurry up and get here.
Damn that's crazy we ran a 42.5 in 2006 state track meet 2a in Texas and got 6th...
That's bananas. Great coaching.
So we here watching the team in the yellow shorts blowing everyone out bc it was in our recommended?
Wow that was smooth
Legends say that guy is still running
Man that's a good record👍👍👍
Man, what a photo finish
10 more seconds of video and I would have given this video a thumbs up.
Bro ncaa record is a 38, they ran 39, that’s crazy
Damn those are some beautiful handoffs
We 1a school ran at that track damn in Webster tx badass
Truth
2nd leg was Devon Achane future Heisman trophy finalist (‘22) with Texas A&M
I keep watching this!
Run fast & hard! TSU Alumn here!
That wind is something fierce that’s most likely why. But good shit
the 2nd guy on the winning team was rly the best
AMAZING
How?!! 😱😱 Thats flying for HS!
Whoo them boys are fast. 2nd leg was moving
Going to that school next year
What a run
*High School Team Runs Crazy 39s 4×1!*
Usain Bolt: Hold my beer
Don't make and since at all since bolt can't run a 40sec 400m let alone sub 45.. lol
nice one boys
Amazing
Yoooooo, second leg was lit! I think they would have gotten an even faster time if the exchange between the second and third leg was timed better. He had to pull up to had off. Still, that was an awesome race and time!
Impressive.
Legend has it the last runner kept running
They ran like there was no tomorrow 😎👍
This reminds me a lot of our catholic school track meets back in the day
Me: we’ve already started running?
Also me: forget that... *walks*
They sure as heck don't lose any time in the handoffs!
that last dude was insane
2nd leg 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Them boys were flying
that was text book 4x100 relay!
They need to run at Penn Relays
We ran a 51.6 and qualified for state in the 4x100 today
Dawg what state is that? Or are you in middle school cuz that would make sense
Beastss
Man that dude ate it on the first handoff
bro that's crazy, one of them must've broken a world record
Did you guys notice the 2nd Leg?? 😳😳😳 OMG & the 3rd Leg looked like he was basically walking at one point, lol
No wonder its Texas they have the best competition.
2nd runner make the impact & 3rd sustained it, hardluck to the fallen team, better luck nxtime
And in wind crazy
Damn that's crazy but can they do it on a rainy night in Stoke?
What was the time?
Tbh can’t be me saying this, good things always happen on this track
God is good!!! :))
I would also be able to run 4x1 meter pretty fast, I can do all 4 Meters by myself too!
The definition of "Floating" simple and plain.
Them boys fast. They would smoked my senior year a-team squad and we was timing 41-42 seconds
Fort Worth Texas stil holds that record seen it with my own two eyes national record at the state meet OD WYATT
That’s gonna be me one day
Devon Achane second leg
Really dat 🏃🏾♂️💨
Thats 2nd leg ate them up big time
Good Lord second leg was no joke!
The one that fell😮
Woe!!
All those dudes are doing 10.5 and better in the open 100
That second leg though😬😬
nice handoffs
🔥🔥🔥
This don’t look like a 39s
I agree. I mean, it is though...just bad handoffs all around, so it looks like they are slower than the posted time but damn they all can run Regardless!
@@angelodepaolo 1st and 3rd handoffs weren't bad, but on the second one the incoming runner practically overran his teammate.
it’s funny to think that a couple of weeks ago i was running here for 7th grade track
The anker looked so heavy though
Fun Fact: most of the fastest people in the country come from here in Texas😊😂
Alright, there's a lot of room to run and a lot of people. And good weather. Makes for a good running state
@@mrrightnow8726 lol I'm just saying some shit😂😂 but it is a lotta people that attend the Texas relays every year💯..
Before I even open the video I knew it had to be a school in Texas.
3rd leg went crazy
Why was this on my notifications when im not subscribed smh?
2nd place JUST crossed the line.
Wyatt H.S ran 39.76 state and national record I believe these guy ran 39.99 also
I ran against there 4x2 yesterday at state there to fast
