When Dillon lost his arm & it fell to the ground & the gun kept shooting, that gun is an automatic weapon. You don't at all need to pull the trigger for every single shot. You just keep it pulled & round after round keeps firing until you either let the trigger go or run out of ammo. The finger was still locked on the trigger when the arm came off & it took several seconds for it to release, that's how hard he squeezed the trigger before the arm came off. This is why it keeps firing even after falling to the ground. That's how automatic weapons work.
True, its similar to lizards & crabs too. If you cut of their tails or legs, it will still move right?
Yes, it was a muscle spasm.
I always wondered why that kept shooting but thanks for the explanation!
"Don't worry, it's made of wood. REAL sturdy."
Not sure if the finger remains locked in place on the trigger. Being the arm is severed from blood flow and nerve signals, the arm (finger) may simply relax ... buuuuuut, this being Hollywood, the finger remains on trigger.
The reason why Predators take their victim's skin, spinal chord and skull, is because they collect them as trophies
Its when they deem them worthy enough the lore on Predators is updated from this film but I think if you are unarmed or weak they wont even bother!
@@sean9115 correct, they won't hunt you down if your unarmed because it's not right n is cheating to harm something that has no way of defense. I love the alien n predator franchise ☺️
Gotta have something manly to hang above that big screen alien T.V. ! :D
I need someone to show me how to play the Spinal Chord please
@@sean9115
In Predator 2 the female detective is pregnant. So he spares her life, pretty dignified.
Everything the Predator does is just an alien version of what human hunters do: using calls to lure prey, camouflage, skinning, taking trophies, etc. The original title of the screenplay was actually “Hunter”! Also, the reason it doesn’t kill Arnold right away near the end is because it recognizes him as a more worthy prey and wants to make it more challenging or fair since Arnold is unarmed by then also. The Predator has a code of honor regarding the hunt.
Hard to disagree but while you say predator has a code humans don't well hunters don't and they never will. It gets me that all these people who have so much money want to travel around the world and kill a lion or tiger or whatever it maybe the person who just wants to kill things they need to be just removed from the world.
@@PodreyJenkin138 Are you are Hunter parts of this I can understand but what about the trophy hunters yeah OK too I suppose?
@@PodreyJenkin138 Big game hunting is NOT done on old and sick animals in all cases. Maybe in the canned hunts but not all of them.
They are run to put money in the preserve owners pocket and do little but show the local population that the animals have a high dollar worth in foreign lands.
This makes poaching far more likely.
As for former poachers being hired that more due to military groups running security for the animals. They were executing poachers in the field. There is even a group of US Vets that goes over to Africa to train these teams and run some of the missions.
Britain has also been sending special forces to Africa to train these teams.
Poachers quite because they were being hunted by people with high tech and superior skills.
Yeah, don't forget Predator won't kill prey if have already damage inside like dying and pregnant too
@@sean9115 oh here we go again! You do your thing I'll do mine! I can hunt for the thrill of being in the woods, see the sunrise, feel all the wildlife come alive. And outsmarting the buck is the part that takes skill so it gives you the angle to shoot it. Also we eat our deer and are proud hunters. My dad was taught and he taught me, I'm gonna go teach my kids someday and I ain't gonna change... Don't waste your breath
The Sequel is either love it or hate it. I personally like it
Yeah, I think it's good. Different, but it's certainly the 2nd best Predator movie by a mile.
How could anyone hate Predator 2? It's a classic! The City Hunter was awesome, the expansion to the lore, the extra Predator gadgets like the smart disc, the net gun, the combi-stick, and showing it's helmet can switch between more vision modes than just infrared, the revelation of the Lost tribe at the end with all the other Predators, the Alien trophy skull, plus the humans were cast well, crazy Gary Busey as an X- Files type anti-hero, Harrigan as the Die Hard style 'just a regular guy' tough cop, and Bill Paxton (R.I.P.) is always great. The city environment is artistically well done as well. And the movie was dark and gritty with plenty of gore and violence and good stunts. It think it's just as good as the first film.
@Keith Klitses... Not true. It is not a "Love it or Hate it." You can "Like it" just like you and I do. 🙂
@@tiredoffools8929 true or not, I'm merely stating what I have encountered. Now it might be different outside of what I have dealt with, so be it.
Personally I hate it because it makes the Predator look flat out stupid rather than cunning. Jumping into a train carriage full of armed people and just slowly walking along eating bullets; the Jungle Hunter would never have done that. That said it is way better than any of the others bar Predators.
At the end the Predator recognized Dutch as a worthy opponent so he gave him a “fair” chance at a 1v1 with no weapons or nothing, The Predator species also doesn’t unmask unless the recognize the opponent as worthy, also great reaction, very entertaining and you are seriously really funny on top of gorgeous, keep up the great work! 🔥
I think Billy was done running and wanted to go out fighting. I think he cut himself to show it he wasn't afraid.
I don't think he cut himself to show the predator that he wasn't afraid. The predator thinks we are animals. When an animal is injured it's more dangerous. I think that's why Billy cut himself to buy his friends some time and make the predator want to come after him. The predators like to hunt very dangerous game/animals and if you have a cornered injured animal it would be very hard to kill it. Except for the fact that this predator is experienced hunter so Billy didn't stand a chance. RIP Billy.
No, Steve’s right. Billy was done running.
@@subzero-em5br It was suicide..there was no fight. Billy offered himself as a sacrifice
He likely cut himself so he drew first blood, and not the Predator.
He literally admits in the film he's afraid of it
What Anna said in Spanish is "I don't know...the jungle...the jungle took him"
I've never noticed the.mtv shirt and I've seen this movie 20 times... Lol that's jessie the body ventura... He was governor of minnesota and Arnold was governor of california... Two governor s in one movie... Lol
Arnold's muscles are probably most impressive on the Conan The Destroyer movie
It's funny because they had him do all kinds of cardio to look more fit and he actually LOST weight for the role because he was TOO muscular to play Conan the Barbarian, lol.
He went from like 240 lbs to 210 lbs before they filmed the Conan movies.
If only we had a true DVD or Blu-ray release of that sequel.
@@contentstarved991 there is...
Arnold was way bigger in his bodybuilding days tough...
@@schwartzy65 The copy I have is non-anamorphic. So it's just a tiny picture on the screen.
Great reaction, The Predator is one of the best sci-fi action films ever. Also youre so cute and animated lol. Love that accent too.😊
The reason why the Mac was cutting his cheek was because he was so distracted by the desire to get revenge, he didn’t know he had stopped shaving til it snapped in his hands/off his cheek.
Billy cut himself to signify that he was making a challenge to the predator.
Some other Arnold’s other movies mention a fictional South American country called Val Verde - since they don’t mention the country in this movie, I always imagined it was in Val Verde :)
Damn, I haven't watched this movie since I was a kid. I feel old watching reaction videos sometimes 🙂
Best "wtf" in cinema history when Arnie lifts the truck 😆
First off, hello from North Carolina, USA.

The way Dutch just makes a bow by bending the stick into that shape is just 😩🤌🏼
This movie was released when i was 7 years old in 1987 and now in my 40 years old i still love this classic. Predator amazing movie thanks so much great reaction☺😎
Imao when Billy started to laugh in the background @17:30 😂😂😂
The sequel is actually amazing!
It’s set in LA and it’s got an amazing story and cast
First time i saw this movie i was 11 years old. When this scene came up 2:15 the testosterone lvls were so hight i could actually feel my beard growing.
Looking back they should have left out the opening scene of the ship dropping off the Predator. Would have made the whole reveal and build up far more effective I think
The sunrise over Medillin is unforgettable.
The best Arnold Schwarzenegger movie of 1987, still loving it to this day
Enjoyed the hell out of this reaction. Her expressions and personality are entertaining. Also very cute and adorable.
It was an automatic weapon, the trigger was probably already pressed when the arm was blown off and it froze in that position. Only single-fire and semi-auto require multiple trigger presses. The movement of the discharge is what was moving the arm, not vice versa.
G’day mate. A BIG shoutout again from Australia. Like your channel too. You have a lovely personality mate. So it’s Big Arnie in Predator eh? Well I can sure dig this fun action flick. These dudes are all business in this movie.Great reaction too. Looking forward to your next one. Stay happy mate.👍🇦🇺😁🤪☮️
Ay Maria! Dillon's arm still had the muscles contracting to hold the rifle and squeeze the trigger. That was the last set of instructions that it received before being separated from his body. (The rifle was set to full auto, meaning just holding the trigger will continue to fire the weapon. You don't have to continue to pump the trigger). This is very similar to a chicken that gets it's head cut off but takes off running around the yard for a bit. How does it do that without the head?? The last instruction that the chicken's body received was RUN!
25:13 that's so adorable 😂
"No! Leave it! He didn't kill you because you weren't armed. No sport."
"Well then... why are the rest of us _keeping_ our weapons?"
"That... is a very excellent question. Quick. Throw your weapons down."
Binge watching your videos right now. You are now officially my favorite new youtuber. You never fail to make me smile and I'm so glad I found your channel. I love your reactions, you are just so adorable and so fun to watch. That accent is so awesome! Forgive me for having a crush, I just find you so awesome y hermosa (i'm learning Spanish, lol) :) Rock on! Your new fan from Kentucky in the U.S.
actually, I believe Disney bought the rights to Predator and Alien franchises. They bought the rights from Fox. I was shocked. I would have thought they were too bloody and scary for Disney to buy them. You live in Colombia!? I plan to visit there some day! I have always wanted to visit that country.
The reason that he let him go is because he wanted the challenge. The predator never experienced a challenge like this before
21:42 "You don't need to be naked dude." 😂
Basically, Predators will fight the way its prey does. Guns or projectiles? It will use similar weapons. Hand to hand? It will do the same. It shows their skills and skulls are trophies that basically elevates them in the Predator society.
Wow, I gotta say that this is probably the best reaction video to the Predator I've seen.
21:04 Thank you for the explain.-Ernie Moore Jr.
Terrific reactions and facial expressions. You, madame, are a delight 🤣
curiosity: that handshake is very famous as there are a lot of gifs of that. It's known as "epic handshake"
Schwarzenegger is NOT in Predator 2(1990). He was busy with Total Recall at the time. Predator 2 takes place in a war torn Los Angeles in the "old future" of 1997. Danny Glover plays a tough LA cop who fights the Predator as it hunts Jamaican drug lords for sport. Alan Silvestri added Brazilian drums to Predator 2's music score.
Predator 2 is a pretty good film. Would recommend for sure :)
When Dillon gets his arm blown off, it keeps shooting because that’s an automatic weapon with the trigger still depressed. When Billy stops to fight it with the knife, he didn’t have any illusions about surviving, he would just rather go down fighting than running. The Predator has kind of a code of honor. Like earlier in the movie when it wouldn’t shoot anyone who was unarmed, in the end it chose to fight hand to hand. The sequel wasn’t all that great. So much of the stuff that made this movie great was absent. Isolation factor being stuck in the jungle? They set it in L.A. Not seeing or knowing what they’re dealing with? They have Gary Busey knowing everything about it. No Arnold, they got Danny Glover.
The film's plot takes place 'somewhere in Central America'. I dont think the movie ever mention a country in particular, but if you live in Columbia then it probably does feel familiar.
Predator skins alive those who are unworthy. Those worthy of sport, Predator collects their skulls 💀 💀 as trophies 🏆. -OG
21:23 you can if it's a fully automatic submachine gun. The MP-5 has an auto sear. As long as someone or something is holding down the trigger, it can go off
Reflex with the arm sunshine.
I was 10 months old when this film came out in drive in theater in United States
Nice!
I thought the sequel was good and worth watching.
Alien vs Predator extended directors cut was pretty decent too.
The film was shot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
your reactions where AWESOME
I live in Portugal and I had a Colombian girlfriend here, her accent was exactly the same as this girl's ... oh Monica, how I miss you .. 😔
Always thought stubble/short beard suited Ahnold. Looks badass.
Elpidia Carrillo, the one with "a very good accent", is actually a Mexican actress.
Predator 2, from what I can tell (I've never seen it), has nothing do with this one. Arnold is not in it.
Predator 2 adds to the lore or the . Predators code by filling it in some more. That's all I can say to avoid spoilers.
Great video! The sequels are all pretty good in my opinion.
Predator uses some type of cloaking device to make it invisible
I don't think anyone, including Arnold himself, would say he's a great "actor." What he is though is a great movie star. He's not gonna win any Academy Awards for acting, but he does have this charisma to him that translates very well to the screen. If you want a modern comparison, in that sense he's similar to The Rock.
Not true on the shooting after losing the arm. Many times after dismemberment or even death muscles contract rather than relax, so the weapon continuing to fire after the arm was severed is not really strange at all. He was squeezing the trigger very hard due to adrenaline so it simply locked that way.

Great reaction as always! : ) You are always happy, even in 5:00 am. Just love it. Also, Hello from Serbia! :)
So you watched Tarzan? I would like to see a reaction of Tarzan movies:)
There can still be electrical activity in the muscle after a limb is severed.
I hate to tell you this but his finger was contracted. That was a German MP5 9mm automatic weapon. Yes it would still be shooting. Lol
She is a Joy to watch!!
You're just wasting bullets... Thank you.-Ernie Moore Jr.
your best reaction --- ever---
This movie is so macho, it gave My cousin a full beard and huge muscles, her Husband wasn't best pleased...
The music fits this movie perfectly. Great action movie. You should check out "The Entity" in your reaction future. Very scary movie.
I think the reason why they just joined the guy in firing is because there are no questions asked, they come to the area, they see an ally spraying in a general directions screaming bloody murder and they will do the same
Great reaction!! Loved your reaction especially from 11:51 - 12:06!!
Awesome review. Even more awesome hair!!!!😱😍😍
Great reaction. You are too funny. 😆
Other good Arnold Schwarzenegger movies you should watch are Comando, Raw Deal, Kindergarten Col, Twins and True Lies. Those are some of his bestm
@21:27 You're wrong. If he's shooting the gun and the arm get's removed then it's quite possible for the gun to keep on shooting. That's a fully auto sub -machine gun. You just keep your finger on the trigger and it shoots. No need to keep pulling the trigger like you say.
The sequel is definitely worth it!
I recommend you watch "Predator 2" from 1990 and "Predators" from 2011. The only bad movie of the Predator franchise is "The Predator" from 2018.
Yeah Arnold's acting can be hit or miss.
Back when MTV played music videos :D
He didn't kill Arnold with his blade because Predators are 'prize hunters'....they're only interested in killing a dangerous prey (which is why he told the girl to drop the gun....it won't kill her unless she's holding a gun). It (he?) wanted to have a 'fair fight', hand to hand, with Arnold.
Oddly enough, that reminds me of Fezzik (Andre The Giant) telling Westley (Cary Elwes) "We face each other as God intended. Sportsmanlike. No tricks, no weapons" in "The Princess Bride."
Hello I just finished watching your reaction to this movie Predator I like it and I enjoy seeing your reaction to aliens 1 and mostly aliens 2 my favorite one so I hope that you're going to see the other Predator movies cuz after all you did said there's a sequel but don't forget to watch Predator 2 1990 and predators 2010 and the Predator 2018 you should also try to watch Alien versus Predator 2004 and 2007 I want to watch and see your reaction to them. PS I see that in this movie you're really big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger so am I and you enjoyed watching him from Terminator 1 and 2 but don't forget to watch Terminator 3 and Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys and Terminator dark Fate as well
Did you ever see or react to "Romancing the Stone?" It take place in Colombia ... although I think it was filmed in Mexico? Would be interesting to get your take on that 😊
I thing our girl here has a thing for Arnold Schwarzenegger. I think this is the second time I heard her comment about his physical appearance.
The movie was film on Veracruz and Chiapas, México
To answer your question, the movie's set in Guatemala
Only in the movies one can lose an arm and still keep using fingers to fire a rifle. LOL.
It's a muscle spasm. It happens even after death. Plus, this was an automatic rifle with a hair trigger. Easy to keep firing.
@@dan_hitchman007 Kind of like cutting the head off of a centipede. Makes sense.
It’s funny she talks about the guys muscles because during filming all the actors got super competitive and were in the gym and purposely dehydrating themselves so they’d more muscular! In the end the director had to ban them from the gym because they were almost killing them selves to look more buff!
To answer your question about where this movie is taking place, they're in Guatemala
15:26 - 15:50. That's what you call DEFORESTATION.
" Mujer Que paso?! que fue lo que vistes?! Mujer dime! " 😂
An explaination about arm and gun...guns have 3 situation..shootin one bullet at time..no bullet...and shooting repeadly..when he shoot and he lost his arm, his finger stood at the shooting situation.and gun was in shooting repeadly...but cos of slow motion of movie it was like it shooting the bullet one by one...soory if my english is bad..i tried..😁😁❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another timless classic.
Mac did not yelled 'Contact!' when he started shooting after Predator a moment after Blain was killed, what he actually was yelling was 'Sergeant'
I say it was"Contact." It makes more sense. He's not yelling "Sergeant" for Dutch, who's actually referred to as Major. Mac was former spec-ops and calling "contact" is a quick and understandable way to call for backup when you come in contact with the enemy.

If you seem confused by the Predator's logic, he kills for sport. The skulls are his trophies.
Haha there are so fun emotional content 👍💥
Too must testosterone in that movie against alien techology . A classic horror survival - action / sci- fi movie from late 80's . Arnold Schwarzeneger , Carl Weathers , Bill Duke , Sonny Landham , Richard Chaves , Jesse Ventura , and Sale Black , what a great testosterone guys team cast . .
The epic score composed by Alan Silvestri and the magical shots from John McTirnan from the real Latin - American jungle . The film a classic! El Diablo cazador de hombres!
Well, I mean, yes, there _is_ a sequel. And _I_ think it's pretty good. But neither Dutch nor Anna are in it.
It's good practice with sequels, if you want them to do at _least_ as well as the first movie in the series, and you have to start over with a new antagonist, to try to start over with a new protagonist as _well,_ because a story with a character-vs-character conflict _always_ works better when you have the antagonist all fleshed out before you even _touch_ the protagonist.
Well done. Yes. Too funny. Except for the girl , the other actors sounded like my poor high school Spanish. Still though, great movie.
The guy in the MTV shirt (Jesse Ventura) later became Governor of my state, Minnesota.
