- We had a great time riding the newly opened trails at the Bindoon Mountain Bike Park, one hour north of Perth, Western Australia. The trails were heaps of fun and we tried to tick off as many features as we could. Thanks heaps to the crew well done to everyone involved in getting these trails built!

I drove a MR 4x4 truck and chipper up Bindoon hill and it was one hell of a thrill some cool trails to hammer!!
Looks like a lot of good work has gone into these! More shade than I was expecting to see too. Thanks for the roundup.
Thanks! Shade was definitely at a premium at the top of the hill, cloudy or cooler days are the way to go.
Looks great Ryan, nice riding and trails. Black sheep looks interesting...!😁
Thanks Steve! Yep worth a look at some of those features on Black Sheep. How's the recovery going mate?
@RyanDillonMTB Going good Ryan, another 2 weeks, and I can get rid of the neck collar, n maybe get back on the bike🤔
Thanks for asking. 🤟
@@freeridemtbauz that's great mate, be good to see you out there again as some point, take care
@RyanDillonMTB Thanks Ryan, I will see if I can get on one of the Thursday night blasts, with you blokes 😁
Have a good one.👍
Nice work!!
Yes Ryan, been waiting for this one 👀👀
Great video. Very helpful. Thanks!
Thanks Jamie! Let us know what you think of the trails!
This is next on my list 🤙🏻
I NEED to come back and hit everything, sick vid
Cheers Hamster, bummed you had to finish early but next time for sure
Look forward to it Hammy. I have a few things on Blacksheep left to tick off.
Great video. Ill have to go check it out
Thanks! Yep definitely worth a look
Is there any uplift/shuttle service available? Is it recommended to use ebike instead? Visiting oz soon. Im planning to do some riding there.
No shuttles yet, but apparently it's on the plan, waiting on funding. You do need to be pretty fit if you want to get at least one lap of each trail. Lots of good spots around Perth though, Mt Gunjin is a good place to shuttle, a service often runs there, have fun!
Whats the climb up like? Compared to Mt Gunjin?
There's a bit less elevation to gain (~100m vs ~150m at Gunjin) but it's fairly direct so a bit punchy in places. Good for the legs!
Thinking about going there, is it good?
The trails are good, but you will need a good level of fitness or an e-bike to get the most out of it.
Good to know, thanks mate 👍
what bike are you riding?
Hey Ryan, I'm on a Banshee Titan. First time riding a 29er proper for me, slowly getting used to it.
I think we got a very different idea of the word “nice” specially when it comes to climbs 😂
😅 ha ha, just thinking positive thoughts to distract from the pain. They were tough climbs no doubt. Imagine what it would be like in summer! 🫠
@@RyanDillonMTB yeah no thanks 🤣 this is why I try to get to where I’m ridding st sunrise or just before 🤣 let’s hope they get the budget for shuttles soon 🤞
@@DirtyPandaMTBif I did that I wouldn't have anyone to ride with 😆 Interesting, didn't know they were considering shuttles.
@@RyanDillonMTB bhahahahahha. Yep heard it’s in the plans but just waiting for more funding 🤞
Need a bigger battery 😢😂
Ha ha, yeah was a shame cos there was some good stuff on that trail. Keri and I did our best not to die on it.
its rlly good but the climb is horrible
Yeah it's pretty tough! Glad you enjoyed it though
