It's because it's mostly entirely run on computers... and the hardware uses a lot of power and the ride itself does.. but when the computer gets something wrong, the whole ride can go wrong

With around 2000 riders every hour and getting from 0-43 mph in a second does a lot of wear and tear on the tires and actual cars so it breaks down quite frequently. First time I rode it as my first roller coaster (definitely wasn’t expecting the speed) the ride had opened up for the very first time after 6 months. And it had a wait time of 180 minutes. From how many times they had to give it a break the wait time went to 230 minutes. So worth it though. The build up to the race still makes me nervous but I want to get over my fear of a small roller coaster
