I've watched many of these abandoned home make-overs, and this one is probably the best yet. She's filled with purpose and energy, and seemingly - joy. Her dog is such a faithful friend. After watching I was amazed at her tenacity. Is there anything this girl can't do? I wonder what the actual timeline was for this renovation. I'm so glad she was able to save enough furniture to set up house. This was a really enjoyable video. One question - what did she ever do with this recovery? Open a hotel? That's kind of what it looks like. Thanks for posting.
What I found particularly interesting is how much she changed visually. She was a chubby cheeked young woman, possibly late teens when she started, and this high end sophisticated young woman in her mid twenties perhaps?? when she completed it. Actually the whole thing wasn't finished at the very end. She lost so much weight and was stunningly beautiful. I find not having English subtitles annoying because I really don't understand everything the Chinese do and why they do it. It looked like quite a lot of buildings being renovated and I assume the long gate at the front meant she took over that whole estate. With the quality of the new materials she garnered and the male help she needed, I surmise she comes from a wealthy family but to let her take on such an ambitious project all on her own at the beginning - wow. Curious about the instrument she took down to the water to pluck! And if that was her bedroom with the king sized bed, there was no normal toilet in that area. Just a toilet you crouch down into a floor hole and a toilet specifically for men. I know there was a regular toilet installed but not in that section where I presumed it was her bedroom ensuite. It is a little hard to tell because there didn't seem to be much room along the balcony there - just room for a couple of small chairs. I seemed to miss a few things there like where are the cupboards? I did find it interesting how she made such a lovely brick home for her pet but along the way throughout the video I couldn't even see it placed anywhere in the yard when they panned over the general area. Must be going blind.

There's a lot to say about this video. First, the title should be TWO genius girls .......... The project is colossal, but without subtitles, it's hard to understand. Is it a hotel, boardrooms or small apartments? The surrounding nature is really beautiful. On the other hand, some of the details are not up to the standard of a luxury hotel. I watch a lot of renovation videos from different countries, and the ones from China show breathtaking gardens and interiors with sometimes very shoddy finishes.
