Hi, I know this is unrelated but, I have this motherboard ( HP Pro 3400MT LGA 1155) i bought off ebay. I connected everything properly into my case, and when it finally came to booting the motherboard, Everything seemed to be working just fine. The cooler and rear fans where spinning, the motherboard and GPU (graphics card) lights all turned on, BUT there was one problem. There was no video output at all on all ports. Even through my GPU there was no output. COuld it be that my CPU I3 3240 is unsupported because the motherboard BIOS is not updated?
I would really appreciate your help and thoughts. Your content is also interesting, i will sub until you reply

Is this safe or can it cause a short on the gpu? Also, I would like to ask if the thermal pads stoped working correctly afterwards?

No, it is not recommended to use liquid metal. It is also corrosive to some other metals, especially aluminum, as it will alloy bond with them and break down their integrity. A good non electrically conductive paste is better suited.
