I love that white dahlia. The contrast of the dark leaves to pale petals is beautiful and the blooms are simple and elegant.

I planted babiana purchased as young plants from the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden. Its done well in CA zone 9, comes back and increases year over year. Blooms purple with freesia like flowers in March.

The dahlia looks identical to the Bishop of Dover. I would recommend putting mesh or netting over your planter to reduce pest pressure. You can oput some dark chicken wire just under the soil so you proect the plants and you can't see the wire.

Hi there, i love all of the bulbs that you plant, just have to say that when we say Dahlias, it's more like Daylias.

I can’t stop staring at your sweater here Summer. Did you make it? If so, what on earth is the pattern? It’s a lovely colour too. So many beautiful new flowers to see!

I buy bulk red pepper on Amazon and sprinkle it around things that I especially don’t want the critters to either eat or dig up. It does work now I just have to figure out how to deal with moles and or voles. 💐💚🙃

Can't wait to see the flower boxes in bloom. Great Video. Do you want to catch and re-locate the chipmunk? Is there a sheltered, half-shady, warmer place, for a new Japanese Maple? Did any survive,? 🍁Thanks.

Where did you get your 80,000 bulbs? I’m looking for a good, inexpensive source for bulk bulbs. Thanks.

But deer don’t eat Dahlias.. we have a lot of deer pressure in my garden and they always leave my dahilas alone. I grow lots of Dahlias every summer.
