  • Here is my vlog about my train trip to Abisko. The train company was SJ and it took us almost a day to get to Abisko from Stockholm. In this vlog, you will watch my experience about the train, beds, how we entertained ourselves and you will learn whether it really took us 18 hours or not.

    Just to get things right - the place is pronounced "Aa-bisko" (stress on the first syllable, not the second one).

    We took the SJ sleeper up to Kiruna. We enjoyed it! How did you sleep?

    Hello
    Are there many tunnels from Stockholm to Kiruna?
    Thx a lot, Pat

      There are some tours that you can book. We didn't do it, we just did it ourselves.

    Is all the food very overpriced like they are in N. America? Looks like better quality and more choices though

    • @Vinterfrid
      @Vinterfrid 7 місяців тому

      That depends on what you mean by "overpriced". The Scandinavian countries are expensive to visit, but to us living here it's what we are used to.

    Those bunk beds looked soo uncomfortable. :D You probably talked about this in another video, but why Abisko? 19,5 hours? That's brutal!
    I remember we drove car from Stockholm up to Gällivare (2 h drive from Kiruna), but I guess I will fly instead now if I want to see my relative up in the North.
