I never thought that over 30 somethin years ago when I was in this band, it would have the impact on my life that it has now. The waking up early, hitting the dots, practice, practice, practice...etc. Oh my, the discipline, work ethic and team work learned while being in this band, propelled me to great success in my career and as a wife and mother. Dr. Hutchinson and Dr. Miller made sure that we traveled like kings and queens, ate at the finest hotels, and slept at 5 star hotels. The hard work paid off. It was the most incredible experience of my life, and I owe it all to 1st and foremost, God, my parents and the World Famed Tiger Marching Band. Go Gram!!!!

I didn’t go to Grambling. My sights were set elsewhere, however I don’t know any Black family educated or not that doesn’t know of the world famous band and their performances. Fans gather as much to watch the band as to actually see the game! Now in MY Book, THAT speaks Volumes! I unfortunately did not have the positive experience I was looking for in a Black college. (Bad choice. The school ended up being a bit remedial. I will not name it here as they may have since rebounded and are considered private.) It is with great pride that I watch these videos knowing that our children have a place to go and be surrounded by their own people that have something intelligent to impart. We are So Much More than the multi-hues of our skin.

I was lucky to grow up in Ruston not far from Grambling. I always loved the parades because Grambling University band would march. Awesome here but absolutely amazing to see live.

I enjoyed this, it reminded me of times when I marched with the Mighty Warriors of Chester PA, as a kid and then moved up to The High School band. I pray for your continued success at GSU and God Bless.

Majorettes, in the past, were part of the band. This most definitely isn't the first time. I'm ecstatic that the tradition has returned!!!
the orchesis still aren't part of the band they are a dance company that accompany the. and. it's way more dancers in the company these are just the ones that made cuts this week. sometimes they change or don't appear at all games unless they the captain.
I think the drum major should always be in front of the band not the dance team nor the majorette ever just me

Grambling’s unique distinctive style, precision and detail are underrated in my opinion. Not to say that other HBCU bands styles aren’t as distinctive and or unique but seriously, what other marching bands have kick ass movements the way Grambling does from how they come to attention, how they march, preform, etc?? Basically this is my long winded way of saying I SEE YOU GRAMBLING, KEEP DOING YOU! LOL🙌🏽👍🏽🎵

Great video. It represented the entire band. Every section was featured. The editing was well done. The courtesy shown to individuals who interfered with the production was really nice. The only issue I had was when u r putting out a video for the world to see. Show some professionalism and don't chew gum with your mouth open. Really enjoyed the video.
