This song is literally an anthem. My girl and I were homeless with no money. We doordashed and slept in the car in the middle of a Minnesota winter but we never lost our morals and our love. We moved 100 miles from our hometown to be closer to her family. Of course her family don't fuck with me so I was stuck. We got jobs and recently got an apartment together. I work a factory job from 11pm-8am. This song specifically feels like it was made for me and our situation and I have deep love for it. At the end of the day it was just her and I. (You and me) lol🤟

it's a different story when you've lived the life. I'm a former 1%er. I hate the way these shows are made. 90% theatre. I lived the life for a long time. it's a way of life. i still question why I left it. I miss it. but i also know the pain and sacrifice that comes with it. If you think these shows portray what it's like to be a real 1%er then you're dead wrong. the hardest part is losing brothers you've known so long. be it to health or whatever else. it's one of the best things I've ever done in my life but it's also one of the hardest to do at times. it's not a hobby. it's a full on life. everything you do is for the good of the club. you sacrifice a lot for your brothers. I was lucky enough to step out in good for the years i put in. I'll always be a 1%er. nothing will ever change that. it's not for everyone. only a very small amount of people have it in them to make it. that's just it. I'm not bad mouthing anyone on a Harley. just saying, enjoy the shows. but know that the life is nothing like it's shown on them programs.

I acted tough when I was younger talked a lot of shit then when shit got real and my brother went to prison it slapped me back into reality knowing it was all just an act. Married with 3 kids, and a grand baby do I miss the thrill yes do I regret stepping away knowing it was an act not for a second.....thank you for this post.
I love that yall gave this series a chance. A lot of people didn't because they don't want anything to take away from Sons. I love this SoA universe and I thank every one of you that watch enough that it's been renewed for 3 additional seasons to this point.
It’s far and away the best universe on TV. Nothing can hold a candle currently.
I'm writing this after season 5 and a great series, it was spectacular at the SOA level. Maybe the decisions in season 5 spoiled the characters a little, like the change in attitude of EZ and that rushed ending without a sighting, but it still remains one of my favorite series

I have never followed or even looked up a Mayans video on UA-cam. And as I scroll through here today feeling so sad and depressed this popped up. My husband passed away dec 3, 2021 and he was absolutely obsessed with this show and anything that had to do with it. I feel as if this is a sign from him. He would tell me babe this show is bad ass!!
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. This is in my top two Favorites from him along with "Till its gone".
The reason this song has such a good feel to it is the melody is stolen from a much older song so it's familiar. Yelawolf just changed the words. Look up Blackfoot - highway song. Actually the original would make a good Mayans remix too
