Jemma I absolutely love your bakery tour videos 🤩🤩🤩 and specifically this format where you taste test all the things that you buy from the bakery right away after buying them.😍😍😍😍😍 Much love 😘
I love this blog….. Farro is the best bakery in Bristol & all the bloggers seem to go there at the end of there trips. It’s a bit of a par tbh. They have bigger queues than fabric (night club) on Friday nights & sell out faster than any other Bristol bakery. Pls go back in the morning & taste there croissants & pastel de nata & soft serve. ❤
So glad to see Loaf in there, it's my absolute fave! If you find yourself back here try their cardamom knot, it's absolutely addictive. So many other amazing places you could have included like FED and Mercy Mercy Mercy in Clifton or Pinkmans who are Bristol's OG doughnut superstars.
We have a pastry here in the Pacific Northwest of the US that we call a bear claw. It's not exactly a doughnut; it's more like a danish pastry filled with dates and walnuts that's cut into a rectangle and sliced partway down to make the claws on the bear's paw. Delicious, but not as common as it was when I was a kid about 60 years ago.
How exciting! We live in Bristol and wasn't aware of these places. I now have plans for this half term with the kids. Good job we went to the dentist last week 😄
14:35 - I can see Dane looking at his reflection in the glass! What a lovely foodie tour of Brizzle - thank you, Jemma and Ellie! I will be sure to take a day to walk to these bakeries over the summer!
oh my god I was just thinking I hope you do a Bristol tour and here you are! Great recommdations as always but I'm surprised you didn't go to Anna Cake Coutoure?!
I often visit friends just south of Bristol and catch the train 3 stops to Nailsea. I can't believe that your first 2 places are next to the station. Im soo gonna pop in to both of them next time Im there!
If anyone can clarify for me. Im american and my undertanding is that a british biscuit and an american cookie is the same thing. But in UK what is the difference between a biscuit and a cookie? Is a cookie larger and not crunchy?
I always follow jemma. Just makes me want to come back to uk I’m in New Zealand and the first place I would go to is cupcake Jemma’s. Thank you enjoyed Bristol visit.
All the places look amazing. I moved to Bristol just over a year ago. I'm coeliac though and Bristol is utterly devoid of gluten free bakeries or anywhere that offers gluten free baked goods that are safe for coeliacs. I'm so shocked theres nothing considering its a big city. If anyone knows of any, please let me know!
You should check out the great cake company they supply lots of cafes in Bristol including my fav honey and gingers and are completely gluten free and coeliac safe😊
A no-waste doughnut loaf and a banana croissant pudding!? What novel creations!! Jemma I adore you and your bakery tours 🤗

Makoko almond croissants are hands down the best I have ever eaten. Glad you visited them.

Ooo We've been to Bristol before. Now I have another reason to go :-)
Did any of those bakeries sell Lardy cakes?
Leicester has a selection of bakeries you could try
That's where they first met Dane!
How do we get the pdf of a map? If we're not a bake member
you NEED to go to bath😻😻
Goodness only knows how you're so slim after stuffing all of those cookies & cakes down your gullet.
BIG UP BRIZZLE❤❤ maybe avoid st pauls😂
That used to be the best fish and chip shop in the city until they retired ☹️
❤️😊👍🏻
I now what to got to Bristol
Wish the thumbnail was more bristol-y
I'm flavoured, $22,000 every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.
Same here, with my current portfolio made from my investments with my personal financial advisor I totally agree with you
Life is easier when the cash keeps popping in,thanks to Elizabeth Regina Nelsen services. Glad she's getting the recognition she deserves

Remember this. Doughnut is spelled D-O-U-G-H-N-U-T and not D-O-N-U-T because doughnuts are made with dough and not do 👍😁
