Sadly had to dispose of the piano due to the underneath and bass bridge detaching but will keep everyone informed when the next one comes along been on a powerful journey with this George Russell but had to let it go the wrestplank was split and cracked the soundboard was completely separated but will live on here as my best piano I used for this piece ❤️
The piano I got the date wrong it’s a 162 years old and I still have him in my new place I’ve just done some major work to the action and the pins for a piano that age no strings changed and still going
Always has been my favoraite to play no matter what I try to be as detailed as possible the buzzing sound is the bass bridge it’s moved and unglued itself from heat and temproment but has a wonderful tone
This is an excellent rendition of it! I'm trying to learn it on my end, do you have a sheet you follow? Anything I can find on youtube doesn't have the left hand part as good as yours. Great cover in any case
To be honest I can’t read sheet music once I listen to it I keep repeating it till I’ve learnt the bass the mid and treble and timing so I do it by ear as sheet music to me is Latin on paper
And also when it comes to the left hand for the bass if you listen to his studio version it’s a bit different how I did it in this was ad more detail to sort of match the right hand when playing too if you listen closely when you hear the C3 getting pushed down hard causing a buzzing noise it’s faint in the song but you can just pick it up that’s how I did listen to it over and over again until perfect the piano he uses is a Yamaha CP80 where as mine has a bass bridge issue where it’s coming away I am on Facebook too if you have any further questions
Also I had to learn the hard way as I can’t read music my hearing got every detail I can find but will try and see what I can do about maybe making a video on la ritournelle
Yeah sorry about that you'll hear a buzzing to that's the soundboard rattling as it's split at the back of the piano it's going under restoration but will the same song on my 1956 lambert London later today
Thankfully the soundboard hasn’t split but the bass bridge decided it wanted to leave the chat so the bass strings are holding it in place but plays remarkably well
@@NM34000 it’s sad he’s gone but I have his key as a necklace and kept some parts so his aroma keeps me going but I miss him dearly a piano to me is like a best friend
C était la musique au Futuroscope. A Poitiers, quel bon souvenir.
Beautiful song in Futuroscope office Poitiers
One of the best piano covers i have heard! beautiful
The sound it produced in its elderly and broken state is actually far more beautiful to me, really wonderful. When did you start playing piano?
Magnifique

Nicely done! Some clipping in the recording but it didn't stop me enjoying.
