Here's how it works... Using the last example, there were 15 cards chosen, which means that there are 11 cards in the other deck. The chosen card is the 12th card per the trick. So now, you are taking off the TOP 11 as they are paired with the BOTTOM 11. Now the chosen card is at the bottom of what is left in your hand, and there are 15 cards left. So the next Klondike shuffle puts the chosen card on the bottom of that group of 15. So when it is counted back, it will be in the 15th slot. The MOST important part of the trick is to have exactly 26 on each side.
Idk if someone already explained why it works, as it is a few months old video as I write this (nice video btw =D ). But yeah, lets say the spectator remove 10 cards, which means that the selection card will land ontop of a pile of 16 cards, making it take the 17:th place. So when you do the klondike shuffle you know you are gonna remove 16 cards from the top and 16 from the bottom before you hit the spectators selection card. Since you are removing 2 equal amounts of cards from the top and from the bottom (before hitting the selection card) that mathematically means that the two remaining piles of cards has to be the same size as well. One of those piles is the prediction pile and in the other one (that has the exact same amount of cards) the selection cards lies neatly at the bottom. Idk if you said you didnt know because you didnt want to reveal it, and if so feel free to remove this comment, but I figured since this is a channel that teach magic tricks it wouldnt be frowned upon to explain it.
Thank you so much Oscar for sharing your card trick knowledge to the world, you have changed my magic skills for the better. You are a legend, keep doing what you love♥️♦️♣️♠️
Legendary Oscar I'm a magician because of you Oscar since last year on 2 March now I'm the best too one day I will visit you so we can fool each other 🤣😂
Thank you so much. I love your magic tricks, and I really want to get your book and go through card magic Pro. Your tricks are really interesting and really clever and I really appreciate you a lot. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Great trick! The math of how it works is pretty neat, I'm portant part is just an even number of cards split into two equal number of cards. So you can do 20 cards with two stacks of ten and it'll work :)
Chris Byram. Thanks. So even if you did this with two pack (I wouldn't-just asking) or say a pack of 40 cards or just 18 cards -- it would still work? Is the Klondyk style shuffle the real important part? - or just a nice extra?
@@BobTaile it's the important part. It's what takes the extra off the bottom of the cut stack and that same number from the top of the stack with the selected card. To see how this works, after forcing the card to the bottom count how many cards are in the number stack and subtract that from how many was in each stack. Do that many klondyk shuffles and you will end up with the selected card on the bottom :) and the exact same number of cards in hand as the cut stack. Two stacks of 10, cut 3. Force a card to the bottom of the other stack, put it on top of the remaining 7. Do 7 klondyks, and you'll be holding three cards with the force on bottom :)
I didn't understand the explanations above. But here is one that may be helpful. Before the Klondike shuffle, there are two piles: 1. the partial one containing the cards initially cut by the subject. Say that is N cards. (We don't know how many and the subject doesn't know.) 2. the stack containing (from the top) 26 cards, ending with #26, the subject's chosen card, and below it (26-N) cards, remaining from the subject's initial removal of N cards. The Klondike shuffle will remove top and bottom pairs. Since the # of cards below our subject's chosen card #26 is smaller than the number above it, the (26-N) below will be removed first, along with (26-N) cards above our card #26. What is left? The top portion WAS exactly 26 cards, ending with the magic card #26. We just removed (26-N) cards Do the subtraction: 26-(26-N) leaves N cards, with the magic card now being the Nth card, always at the bottom after all Klondike shuffling.
Amazing trick! Keep up with the great content. BTW, The eco deck is one of my favories. I know it's porpuse is to be recycable, but I just love them too much even though mine are in a rough shape.
The finest thing I've noticed. To learn this trick I just repeat after you. But, I still have no f.... idea of how it works! I'va tried to do it by the different ways, but always get the spectator's card! It's amazing...seems like a real magic, doesn't it?)
This trick is freaking amazing 1st time I did it on myself still didn’t understand how the hell I did it. Awesome easy to follow vid. These tricks are just maths but so clever
GREAT TRICK I like it when the skill level is minimal and the impress level is very high. Also learnt a new shuffle ✅️ OSCAR - you win a GOLDEN GLOBE !
Great trick but a little unsure on the requirement of having a key card? As long as you have two even piles of 26 cards it works anyway? If I am right is this not better to just count them out to 26 then you have an instant reset should they want to see it again straight away?
The point of the key card is so you can spot the exact middle of the deck easy instead of counting to it so the spectator doesnt think its something like a math trick
maybe I am wrong but if you split the dack at the key card and put it in the top half you will now have the deck split 25 and 27 cards, not 26 and 26. i have done exactly as stated and thats what i get.
I had to re-watch about 8 times to get it. When he cuts the deck, the key card is the top/26th card if the "bottom" packet of 26, which are the ones he counted out a moment before.
Old but awesome video, tho I do want to point out that you don’t have to remove the jokers for the trick to work. As long as you split the deck exactly in half it’ll work.
Hello Oscar Your tricks Is Very good👍👍👍👍👍Magican Michael Czech republic..My freund Lubor Fiedler Very good Magican+2014(Magazin Genii)And Magican inventor..Im sorry my english Is Very little..Michael
The math isn't terribly complicated. You just have 2 times the number of cards that are missing in the pile on the left at the bottom, below the selected card, after the Klondyke shuffle. 15 cards on the left, 2*11 cards below the selected on the right.

Just split the package into 26+26 and you do not have to do very suspicious mixing twice. :)
Can u perform pen spinning?
Yes!
Bro i did this and my self was stunned
Tricks like this take a long time to execute, which, to me, takes something away from the effect (or is it 'affect', I can never remember).

wht to do if u only have 50 cards????
