In Germany there are 3 requirement areas the first one is reproduction. This is one of the easy levels because you just need to describe something or for example read a text and rewrite or explain it in your own words. The second one is reorganisation and transfer which is more difficult because you need to analyze, explain, compare and justify. The third one is reflections and problem-solving this is where you need to discuss( find your own argument, explain them and discuss those with the hole class) write a comment or a statement for a specific topic and find your own solution for problems. Depending on the requirement area your in, you'll get your grade accordingly. The people who are in the third one will automatically have very good grades. I am in the third requirement area but I still struggle with it a lot 😪. Even though your Video give me the Motivation to study more❤🥰

It's my first year in college and honestly, after having a couple midterms, college exams are much more harder solely because your grade is more heavily weighted on them and finals. In high school I could always trust failing a test occasionally since I can always have projects, homework, and other things to equal them out but in college, a lot of my professors weigh the grades so heavily for tests. But either way I still enjoy learning the curriculum overall, college is a fun change to test independence. :)

I find college exams a mix of remembering all the info as well as applying it. The only class in High school that was more applying than knowing was my Digital Media classes as well as my Intro to Statistics class.

The difference between my high school exams and college exams is that in college you study if you want to, the teacher just directs the subject and you need to be responsible for studying alone. And what course do you take in college?

I totally agree with the application of material on college exams. I feel like in high school they just wanted us to know material without really understanding it. My major is exercise science, I'm taking all upper level courses and I feel like every single one of my exams is applying the material we learned. I wish high school prepared me better for these types of exams.... You're doing such a great job though!! I enjoy watching your videos in between my studies :)

Yes I just started college and it’s hard the exams are different from that of high school. I’ll say more scenarios and critical thinking rather than memorization and 1+1=2

Hey, so I heard about you from a fellow freshmen mentor in your freshman seminar class and I'm so glad I discovered you. I really like the aesthetic of your videos and I admire your dedication and organization! Your laptop setup is nice and I wish I had the motivation to take handwritten notes like you do. I read In Cold Blood in high school for ap lit and remember thinking it was boring but I think if I read it again now knowing what I know, I would appreciate it more and be super interested. Keep it up, good luck on finals and if I see you around next semester at school, I hope it's okay to say hi!
