This technically isn’t a sequel, this is the first game. I feel like the first game was just a prototype to see if the public would get hyped and spend money on the game. This is a massive improvement from the “first”.
Seeing Sartana appear as a boss & Vlad being a major villain in this kind of makes me wish they had other villains included in this campaign as bosses like Professor Calamitous (Jimmy Neutron) & Queen Vexus (MLAATR). Heck Azula herself would of been cool as a boss if not playable.
If there were to be more bosses here is what I would want to see. SpongeBot steel pants (SpongeBob BfBk) Armagedroid (Mlaatr) The almighty tallests (Invader Zim) Ozawa (Avatar) Dennis (SpongeBob) Krang (Tmnt) And last of all… The Nick Jr logo
The other series needs more villains. I think spongebob has enough and danny phantom has a lot besides vlad so I don't know why they make you fight him thrice
... another boss idea would be the Local Street Cats (The Casagrandes) Because these felines can work as a wave type enemy, and i one episode they can formchange into a humanoid cat-like being (Think Incineroar from Sun and Moon).

I feel like the bosses are a nice inclusion, but they range from seriously unfair to way too easy to actual fair challenges. The Flying Dutchman has too many hard to avoid hits and is just not a fun fight. Meanwhile, Sartana had well telegraphed attacks and was a fair fight. And Vlad and Clockwork...How are these two the easiest fights in the game?
I wish there was a form change when you fight vlad for the third time or maybe a different ost as well. Still looks fun. Just wish it were on a harder difficulty. Also I wish there was some continuity of spongebob already meeting vlad back in nicktoons unite.
Is Tom Kenny recording from a home studio on a phone or something? Something seems really strange about the audio edits here. At least it's a huge step up from how the first game started!
Definitely an improvement from the first game, but I wish that Shredder was still playable. I'd put Krang as the boss instead so Shredder would remain on the roster, but I'm not a game developer. At least this game has a campaign!

@EDDYSUNSHINE59 That and they had a lot of powerups as well. From what I saw, you only have one life in every run in an area. Because of that you can buy things to increase your power and how many lives you start with. Ludocity truly did bring that slap city difficulty to this game.
When you’re in the hub area, you can swap characters if you unlocked them during the campaign. The first time you fight King Jellyfish, you’re forced to use SpongeBob since you’ve yet to go to the hub area. Bosses can be refought later, so you can use whoever you have for them.

Yes but you have to unlock them during the campaign then you can switch to them when you’re in the hub area. You can even refight bosses later, and each character has dialogues for each boss, so you can see what they say to them all.

Ultimate bosses wasn't "entirely" full of weird OCs and had more iconic bosses at leasy

I think King Goobot would be a better Jimmy Neutron villain for a boss since he is Jimmy’s true main arch enemy and his first arch enemy too.
